I once heard a rumour the Cherry Evans had signed with the titans but it didn't happen
My point is players can change their mind very easily
I wouldn't name a player who might be thinking about signing with us
Other club's may just try and sneak in under our nose to get him

The best way to put it is you probably need to know the whole story

He's a good pickup, joining Magpies on an ISP contract. Good as in not bad. Not one of the top 30, but if we got desperate we could use him. It never hurts to have more backup.

Hasn't Josh Drinkwater played for us in the past ??

Yeah, he was in our FG squad last year (2017). We released him to let him go after other opportunities, but I guess it didn't work out, and he's coming back to us on a ISP contract, playing ISP (which is what he mostly did last year anyway).

I don't have a drama with it. If he/she heard a convincing rumour from a reliable source and posted it, all good. It got the forum buzzing. If the rumour was wrong, so be it. It was a rumour after all. Some people get a tiny tidbit and turn it into a buffet dinner. Next time, pick up the salt first.
