This has been going on for pages and pages, maybe go start a boring pie in the sky salary cap points system thread that the rest of us can avoid like the plague…

X2 :bash

X30000 Boooooring

Agreed. This is meant to be a discussion on prospective Tigers signings, not a debate on alternative salary cap measures.

Changing the subject from your bullshit salary commentary. Here’s my starting 17 to make the Tigers great again:

Tui
Nofo
Marsters
Milne
MWZ
Gamble
Marshall
Matulino
Reynolds
Packer
McQueen
Aloiai
Taylor
\
\
Twal
Felise
Eisenhuth
Thompson

How good is my side!? Lawrence, Naiqama and Brooks free. Mmmm. Delicious

So if Brooks bombs this season and Cleary jr decides to stay at the Panthers, who do we sign?

I think we should be looking at some of the young, up and coming talent. There aren't many established halfbacks that I'd want.

Maybe, Kyle Flanagan? Or, would we just let Gamble have first shot?

There's at least s dozen established halfbacks better than Brookes. Outside of Cleary I'd target them.
No more 'potential' time wasters.

Make it 15\. That will save me some time.

Ash Taylor

Don’t think Ash Taylor is worth a fraction of the money the Titian’s signed him for. He
has committed to the club until at least 2021 signing a massive deal worth $3.2 million.
Lol. Image if he came here on that money . We would be calling for an inquiry ! Toovey style.

Personally I think Brooks will do fine but if what you asked above happened then the other halfback off contract for 2020 is Shaun Johnson who will be 29 with 3 or 4 good years left in him and a connection to Cleary and he will have played under a rubbish coach in Kearney for 2018 and prob a rubbish Kearney for 2019 or someone else crap because its the warriors so will be keen to escape.

No one else off contract at that time is anything but rubbish however who knows what happens by 2020 because THurston, Cronk will be gone and the other big name halves are locked in so will be a few young blokes coming through

RYLEY JACKS, Brock Lamb or Jarome Luai. Broncos are interested on Brock Lamb
