Stats in todays paper show Brian Kelly as the worst defensive centre in the NRL, Gagai 2nd Hiku 3rd.
So he would probably fit right in here, no tigers in top 6 missed tackles for centres though

After Sunday where does Kerrod Holland fit in that?

He only misses because he has not played hardly any centre this year, otherwise he would be up there

I think that I could have defended better than KH on Sunday, even if I tripped over in front of players.

You are probably right, but the stats were for missed tackles by players playing centre, and he has played I think 2 games at centre this year, but after last week he still might be in the top 10, stats only went to 6 I think

I’m hearing Brett Morris to Dragons, Feki to Manly, Kelly to Tigers Isaako to Roosters.

Sharks' forum are convinced Josh Morris is their target.

but but he's busted… :unamused:

I am hearing you mate, cronulla think he could go 2 years, yet some here think he can't go one, way better than what we have, both Morris boys for that matter

Cronulla sign as many old crocks as us, but they somehow seem to get the best out of them, while ours always end up on the sideline til they retire! Peptides?

Leeson Ah Mau to Warriors

again what the hell is ivan waiting for, we will have heaps of money and there will be no one to buy. can see us with the same pack again next year at this rate.

Problem is, how do you know Ivan is waiting? No one can force players to come to the club. The reason we went so hard for Reynolds was the fact we missed out on other players. I'd guess we are trying to sign players but they are choosing to sign eksewhere,

I’m sure we are actively pursuing number of players. As Pom said some are under contracts with their existing clubs. So only expected that it would be unwise to reveal anything this early out of what is practically mid-season. Lots of water to flow under the bridge yet. Also I expect just like in previous years that some good new players will emerge through the remaining rounds of this season. So if you wee all your $$$$$ against the wall too early ….. you’ll be very soooooorry!

You have great ears….

I believe Kelly to the Tigers is a solid bet!
Now please tell me in advance how that will be crap signing. Dying to get some expert opinion.

Was some article saying he was the worst defensive centre in the NRL , I didn't see it , but it was mentioned on here by someone

Chooks have announced a 4 year extension on Trent Robinson (coach) extension. So no Cleary x2 for 2020\. That's good news for us .. !!

While they're busy with Morris, let's sign their young centre Xerri who is very good.

They’ll keep Xerri.
It actually makes perfect business and performance sense.
Xerri is still eligible for SGball. Far too young and inexperienced for first grade. An excellent veteran in J Morris to guide him allows them the best of both worlds. Gives Xerri time, revitalises Josh with the Challange and gives the sharks assurance.

According to Zero Tackle, Apisai Koroisau is off contract. Surely worth a look?

Not if we’re signing Segearyo

Koroisau is a far better prospect….

Koro actually agreed to a new contract at Manly a couple of months ago .
They’re waiting for the conclusion of their appeal against the salary cap penalty to lodge the contract .

Lolohea was contracted for next year and we are trying to offload him to free up money and upgrade a position we need filled

There will be other clubs like Newcastle now trying to do the same thing by offloading players still contracted
Some clubs will have a surplus of players in key positions and a lack in others and this is where we may strike it lucky
We WILL land some very good players if Ivan is patient

I think Ivan knows what he needs to do.

You’d hope so seeing that stage 1 of the rebuild has been a flop .

Stage 2 …..waiting....
