Now is certainly the time player trades come to the fore. Every club has some, and let's face it, players who are out of favour, for whatever reason, are silly not to view this with open eyes and look at opportunity rather than digging their heels in. They have only limited years make the best of it.

Would be interesting to draw up a list of out of favour players at the clubs and see what happens with the trading window.

We're a pretty ethnically diverse club when I think of it; African/Aus Mbye, hand full of islanders (Tonga, Samoa, Cook Islands), couple Lebs (Faz/Twal), Chinese Cheek-Kam, Kiwis, And an Englishman in MacQueen. We need some Latinos

He would need to want to go. He has a contract here for next year so if he wants to stay, he can. I can't imagine he will though.

This is what i was whingeing about a couple of weeks ago - these shonky under the table deals that lock out all other teams from having a crack at players who are out of favour.

He would need to want to go. He has a contract here for next year so if he wants to stay, he can. I can't imagine he will though.

If this is Packer he would probably fail getting a visa with his conviction for assault. Character grounds.

As for Packer - a real shame he hasn’t kicked on here. I thought he was a great signing when we got him but he has been very disappointing.

Anyone else get the feeling he got the irrits when Madge expected him to do more hitups?

I got some info today the Tigers are actively trying to offload Big Ben Reynolds Packer and Taylor and i asked about Packer and was told he did his hip last year and is playing on one leg it wont get better and mite be a medical retirement
