Not many people would classify N Brown as a WTF signing. I’d be happy if he does sign with us but surely a WTF moment is someone a bit better.

To me a WTF signing would be a rep player that absolutely no-one would expect to sign with the Tigers.

Agree on that. Clark and Twal are effective but are tradesman like. Aloiai is the only forward who’s aggressive. I’m happy if we’ve nabbed Brown but hoping it’s the first of 2 more

The only reason I’m not complaining is it probably would’ve been between Jai Arrow and Nathan Brown for a lock spot. Maybe might mean that we’ve missed out on Jai Arrow or he doesn’t want to come here and so we’ve gone for Nathan Brown. In that case I’d be happy, although I’d rather Arrow, if we couldn’t get him I’d be content with Brown.

Everyone is getting excited about Brown /Arrow etc , but Matterson was signed as a back rower

I personally think the current options at 13 aren't that bad ....but the problem is our back row options look like absolute crap again

Frizzell if he goes anywhere is likely to go to the Roosters which you would think would force out one of JWH, Tetavano or Taukeaiho.

If it was me , I'd be going low key on the 13 as they don't necessarily need to be an 80 minute player .....but the modern day back rower has to be and is far more important in the modern game

Probably outside having two top liners in your spine ......your back rowers are the next most important players .....they can cover up having less than perfect centres as well

@Telltails I think if Frizz didn't sign with Parra he is staying at the Dragons, but also hearing Angus Crichton has fallen out with Robinson so maybe he does go to the Rorters. Crichton Would be handy.

suspected syndesmosis injury. usually 6-8 weeks recovery depending on the severity.

I think that its a very in-oportune time of the year for both Pascoe and Madge to be out of Sydney. I'm not completely sure but I think that Wests Tigers went back to pre-season training today as did Titans from we were hoping to gain two players including Brimson from.

Parramatta Eels have re-signed five players for the upcoming 2020 NRL season as rumours of wayward Wests Tigers forward Ryan Matterson joining the blue and gold grow louder.

The club confirmed via their website that they had secured Brad Takairangi, David Gower, Ray Stone and Andrew Davey for next season.

Nathan Brown still unsigned?

Yeah. If it’s Brown and announced after Nov 1 means Parra will pay a portion of his salary if he is “released” to us. Would be a way in which they get Matto and we get a reduced payment for Brown.

Personally I wouldn’t understand why we would go after him, he misses a chunk of the season & isn’t getting younger.
