Douiehi kicked 10/16 goals his entire career, obviously a short career. 62.50% to date. That's worse than Esan.

Sure he might be an ace kicker in the past, but totally unproven as a first grade kicker. That being on the back of @ElleryHanley saying Momirovski is unreliable - Mommers is 21/28 (75%) in FG.

$100k in the context of the player market as it now is, is chicken feed. If Doueihi ticks all the boxes with Madge, just sign him!

It's not $100K in context of the market, it's $100K in context of doing a deal with Souths. So many folks complain about Tigers being pushovers, when we stand our ground, people complain about being obstructive to a deal.

Douhei is keen & so is Madge, as been said before major sticking point is what Souths will put in. They don’t want to cover anything & we refuse to pay all or his 2021 wage. So that could hit a stalemate.

Thanks for your info. If Doueihi does not eventuate, do we have other players that we are targeting to play fullback for us in 2020.

If he doesn’t sign on, they’ll stay with Thompson for start of the year & wait time see if someone worthy of chasing gets itchy feet throughout the year.

Can’t believe he’s in half a mill though !

If he is a first grade fullback most are running at more than $500k. Sign him please Madge. There is no place for quabling when it comes to a likely team saviour.

Is Corey Thompson a first grade level fullback? The answer is no and I am sure that Corey much prefers playing wing. Fortune favours the brave and nothing ventured nothing gained. Wests tigers must sign Douehi. I and most other people don't expect a first grade fullback, other than Dugan, to suddenly appear mid 2020. We have the money, sign him or keep the money in a bank at a miserly 3% interest for a year.

Momo took a ton of chip overs as we almost always went for the two points from pens. Thus inflated stats.

How many did he bang over from the sideline after tries?

And what about the Dogs game? Chip shot for golden point.

We missed the semis by one game...that was it.

I like Momo, and you can tell he works hard.

But he may not even be in firsts if we get BJ and once Tommy is ready.

Did you watch the semis last year? The kid played great. One of the best on the field in enormous knock out games.

His back end of the season form was very good...coming off a major op.

Bennet rates him the best utility in the game almost.

The kid wants to come, has strong links to the club, the coach wants him...has def upside, can cover 1, 3,4,6, and 7.

But, yeah, let's wait and hope someone falls out with their club in June and we can grab them in round 12...

His manger gave the club the indication a meeting last week with the Eels was to finalise a release only to be knocked back AGAIN !
Lucky swearing Is not allowed as Parra a being real .........

I reckon they are in for the long haul. IMO they are trying to get him to reneg on his Contract with us. Stefano is in all of Parra's recent marketing.

They want douehi on a 3 year restructured deal if they take him with nothing from Souths. Otherwise they take him on Souths current deal with Souths kicking in on the 2021 part. Nothing for 2020 as he’s already being paid by them.

Douehi is young and done nothing yet we are doing the right thing in showing our interest instead of throwing the kitchen sink at him. Best way to scare him off. Not many want to shoulder the responsibility and expectation that comes with an inflated price tag at club starved of on field success.

Because Latrell is one of the best players in the game. Smart teams upgrade even when they have a good player in that position. It’s why they’re successful.
