But we all know officially we couldn’t have spoken to Stefano before 1st Nov, and given that he reportedly signed at the end of November, there’s no facts to indicate that we spoke to him before we released Matto.

And Parra were not allowed to talk to Matterson before November 1 2020, yet he was gone before November 1 2019, please

It's different when you are the one making the release, not the signing.

in what way? Surely you are not suggesting that the Tigers released Matterson before he asked for a release? Are you suggesting that Matterson Asked for a release before having a deal with Parra?

When I got divorced a mate told me wise words "A monkey will never leap out of a tree, unless it has a branch to land on".

So 72hrs with the public holiday

I’d say likely Tuesday/Wednesday as far as I’m aware all the financials on BJ side seem to be agreed to.

I really do not understand the intense reactions over AD ... this player is virtually a nobody at this stage of his career... yet this player is demanding the world from any club that is interested ! IMO I do not think he is worth anywhere near the money being bantered around and a 4 yr contract well that is laughable .
He would be a good addition to the squad but maybe he should get some runs on the board before demanding ridiculous money and lengths of contract ... not fussed either way for me he falls into the potential category at this stage .

My guess is he is deciding between staying at South's playing second fiddle $600,000 ?
Coming to us $400,000 ?
Or moving to Melbourne (Hush Hush)
$400,000 and playing in a top team and being coached by Bellamy

So bench player for $600,000 at South's

Or into the starting side for $400,000 and staying in sydney

Or pack up and move to Melbourne for $400,000 A season

He will know Smith is leaving
Addo-Carr is leaving
Vunavalu is leaving
And Bellamy is probably leaving

So probably deciding wether to stay at South's where he can't prove himself
Or
Move to tigers where he has every option to improve his game under Madge and stay in Sydney

Come to Tigers Doueihi

I think Latrell sent us all crazy (especially me) in regards to wanting/expecting new signings.

Fact is, we would have made the 8 last year, if Momo had kicked the whole season instead of Esan.

We lost an elderly Robbie, an Esan who'd given up trying, and a slimy worm.

We signed some really exciting juniors, we signed Big Lucy, still might get Stefano, still will probably get BJ.

The sky is not falling. We'll do well this year.

The sky might not be falling, but public perception which probably includes players, is we are a last resort, and we have really shown nothing recruitment wise with all these dollars to disprove this

Is it really though? A couple of gutter journalists from the Telegraph isn't public, let alone player, perception.

Lucy's only been here ten seconds and he's already talking up the club and telling his brother to come.

Benji's 80 years old and loves playing here under Madge so much he wants to stay here for another 80 years, on close to minimum wage.

Arrow completely dismissed us, and publicly at that, that alone is a concern, and the Latrell saga, we all know that one, and the fact we are relying on a 35 year old Benji is a real concern, he came back for one year, he is heading in to season 3, we have to move on from him.

How do you define Arrow completely dismissing us ? To me he dismissed every team in the comp and went to Souths. I assume because they offered the best deal. Same as the Latrell saga. Those signings affect us in a similar way to every team that didn't sign these guys.

Benji has been unreal for us. I'd much rather rely on him than Reynolds.

There are no real problems here other than ones that people are creating in their heads. We just have to see how we go next year but I like our pack and if we sign BJ then we are looking to be at a similar level to last year but with our cap in a better position. We may go okay over the next couple of years.

If anything I think we are looking to be a team on the up.

He was quoted as saying something along the lines of I would rather go to Russia, than go to the tigers, it was in the media, it was reported on this forum.
