I hope that Talau doesn't get forgotten about in all of this. If he's anywhere near as good as I keep hearing he is, wouldn't be too hard to imagine someone like his dad Willie's old club (Dogs) going after him once his ties to WT are ended. Not sure how long we currently have him tied up for,

Didnt he just re-sign/extend with us? He is at the start of his current Contract IIRC.

Yes, he has recently re-signed with us which was great, but my concern is where is he envisaged playing post Benji era. Previously mentioned as potential Benji successor, now Doueihi is also. I just don't want to p off Talau or Doueihi, the succession planning should be handled with care.

Lets just let him play and establish himself in first grade first. Worry about where he ends up after he proves himself as a first grader.

Keep an eye on Perese for Broncos in the Nines. If he doesn’t get a regular NRL start with Brisbane he might be looking to get out by 30 June

Yeah, but at some stage I would like the merry go round of positional changes to stop and allow each player to settle in to a permanent position and make it theirs. We seen to have a lot of multi purpose players and few specialists in the backline.

i agree but we are at stage where we have 2 spine members who are not going to be here next year (reynolds and benji) another over paid centre who is a makeshift everything guy (mbye) who goes next year or the year after?

mbye is there no matter what this year with the captaincy
reynolds maybe off the bench but what does that achieve in terms of stopping the merry go round? unless you move mbye to hooker and rotate with reynolds (seems wasteful) but allows talau a centre spot
but then the momo trade was a waste

I believe that Reynolds is sign for this year and next (2021). And Mbye is signed till the end of 2022. At least, that's what it states on Zero Tackle.

Damn ....Pom and Geo thought we had him ...just jokes Pom

What are you babbling about now....was never going to be an NRL signing CC at best upset you banging on at the time and now again as he signed elsewhere..gawd..

WT need to develop into a team that plays for the whole 80 minutes. Also luck with injuries. Really looking forward to this seadon as we have recruited well.

JR deal was ridiculous but the Mbye one isnt far behind it, at least Mbye plays but my god we have some money going to waste.

Hopefully centre. If he kicks on in the NRL and lives up to the wraps, then he and Leilua would make for an awesome centre pairing. The one game I saw from him last year showed me he had huge potential.

Have we announced our 9's squad yet .. ??

Pat Richards and MBye, that's all

Why is it called nines, again?

Not sure..probably 9 players on the field only..

I really have a good feeling about Zac Cini. I reckon he is on the cusp and in for a ridiculously good CC season. 2020 will be a defining year for him.

So we’ll be needing another 7 .
Looking forward to seeing Patty in WT colours again.

Is the momorovski and Grant deal still on

Tigers, Storm and RLPA want to get it done - NRL are baulking at it for reasons unknown but hopefully the pressure from all parties plus the media will 'assist' the NRL in approving it.

Why are so many experts here dirty on Mbye ? I think the bloke is a quality player and one that makes S O O , cant be too much of a waste if he can play at the elite level

Mbye was a much needed spark when he arrived and played FB. Madge must rate him. I always thought he looked average in the halves at the dogs. But I will back him for a big year. Clearly talented and was hit by injury last year. I hope he is best on ground and plays like a captain all year
