how to people thinks jennings is better the nofo, in my opinion jennings is very very average and nofo is a very decent winger

Nofo has been our scapegoat for years now
When the whole team has been pretty average besides a few players
People have been screaming to sign JAC to huge money ,which he definitely is an upgrade.
But he isn’t some defensive machine who makes huge metres early in sets.
Nofo ain’t perfect.not great under the high ball,some poor reads.
I honestly can’t see how anyone could pick Jennings over him from what we have seen.
I hope he proves me wrong

I think all this assuming who will play on the wings for us is slightly clouded by who we personally would like in the positions..Nofo,Jennings,Thompson and Momo are all very capable players each with their own unique faults and favours..Madge seems fair and whoever of those players do well over the preseason trials and who has trained very well over the summer will get the chance to prove that they deserve the spots.
I wouldn't care who plays on the wing as long as they do their job and has earned the right to wear that jumper..

I suppose you think of it in terms of skill sets, adverse reactions to certain situations and adaptability in the teamwork frame? Particularly the anticipated value of each skill. Both wingers are pretty dam good I think. However, there is one skill which puts Jennings in the lead , it’s an important one too. His ability under the high ball.

time to try new wingers we havent made semis for 9 years and nofo seems to be a constant in that period.

Have to agree Gunners,people cant solely blame an individual alone for not making the finals in 9 years..

That is true and i doubt very much if Nofo is the reason we have missed the semis for so long.You can add Lawrence to that list as well.The problem has been a combined team/coach problem and we now have a coach whose job is to fix it

Every player has their positives and negatives. My opinion of Nofa is that his positives (good finisher, good carries from our own end) are attributes that every winger in the game just about has now. A few years ago he was one of the best at those things but nowadays just about every winger can do it.

I think he definitely needs to add something to his game, up his pace, add some footwork or be safer under the high ball otherwise he will just be another run of the mill winger who could be replaced by someone a lot better.

We severely lack pace on our edges and I think it’s one of our weakest positions at the moment, I’m praying we get JAC for next year.

In saying that I love Nofa, love watching him play, he bleeds for the jersey and works his ass off so if we did let him go I would be sad about it, I hope he smashes it this year with a proper centre inside him and proves me wrong. Our right edge could definitely be one of the best in the competition this year.

We've got three reasonable wing options in Nofo, Corey and Jennings who hopefully is fitter and improves, early signs are promising
Nofo does the hard work, gets over the line and has a great offload, and his defence now he doesn't have Kevvie inside him is better
Corey is all heart, gets across the line and really doesn't let us down at all
Jennings only advantage over the others is height which may be important with the no tackling players in the air rule
I'm glad to have all 3

The fact we can talk about who will play where is a blessing. Genuine competition for spots is one of The reason our team looks so fit this year

Sure nofo has weaknesses especially reading defence patterns but he also is our best hit up merchant and knows how to finish when he gets some decent ball.

Put a quality center inside him and I think that could reduce his defensive weakness outside of bombs - only stilts or bombs being banned could save him on that one.

I am not sure why you think so highly of Jennings he was terrible last year and had all season to get fit and do something but played well below FG standard and was nothing special in reggies either.Momo is a better than average player but is not a winger.

Actually he's a centre, who plays centre.

Unless you want to go wayyyy back, in which case Teddy is a winger who plays fullback and Nof is a fullback who plays on the wing etc...
