JAC is a real chance for next year. Maybe a winger or maybe a no1, don’t know, but I have a feeling he is heading our way

Doubt he could organise our defence well enough either. Has not shown he’s a fullback.

Perhaps but not at the tigers. Brooks and Johnson are best when they have space. Our go forward isn’t good enough. You would have to swap Brooks for someone who could guide us around the park and manage the game better.

I think JAC could be a good fullback. He's got quality passes in his arsenal and the passing game required of fullbacks isn't exactly complicated. I think he is a lot more skillful than people care to realise. A lot of fullbacks start off just athletes and learn how to ball play too. He grew up a gifted, fast, black kid. He probably played halfback or fullback and kicked goals in every team he played in for all we know. I know he was a centre at the very least when he was at Cronulla. I wouldn't be immediately writing him off.

He has really filled out at Melbourne too has the size for it.

Johnson had an absolute stinker of a season last year. I would not want Johnson at the backend of his career.

Pay JAC fullback money and play him on the wing. He is in another stratosphere when it comes to finishing and turning half chances into tries. That recruitment guy when Papenhuyzen was around, is he checking whether the Eels will release Rankin?

Exactly. He wants a pay upgrade. No problems but not with us. Give him winger money, give him a chance at fullback and if he performs he can get a contract upgrade.

Totally agree,if JAC comes he comes as a winger and when given the opportunity earns the fullback position and dollar upgrade,South's will have to move Latrell back to centres soon as it's clear he is way better there than fullback,Val Holmes at fullback so far has been a failure, with Drinkwater and The Hammer Vying for the position they could be paying a 1 million a season for a winger

Yeah, I'm not a fan of players unproven in a position saying they want to be signed as a "Fullback" for example. They need to earn that position and playing a certain position when younger doesn't count.

Anyone know the contract status of Fidow from Cows?

I really like this kid - can play FB as well. According to zero tackle he is on a development contract that finishes this year - i haven't see anywhere where the cows have signed him past this year. Maybe someone else on here as seen if they have.

Just found they have signed him until end of 2022.
