Simon Dwyer

Immediate treatment, surgery after the injury should be covered, NRL players don't fork out for knee reco etc. But I don't know about on going treatment and therapy in the years following, given Simons injury he might be paying extra for the best and most extensive treatment there is.

You'd think the club would look at it as investment. If he ever comes back you know exactly where he's going and if he never gets back to 100% he'll have a job around the club when he's not playing poker I suppose.
Here's hoping he comes back, it would be remarkable

Saw him as I was leaving the Dogs game last night. Unfortunately he looks like a shell of his former self, pretty skinny and was still wearing some sort of brace or cast. Obviously to be expected considering the injury he has but from what I seen he doesn't like playing league again.

I hope I'm completely wrong, he had a massive future.

…hopefully he still does. All the best with your recovery.
