Doctors told him he should be getting feeling and movement back in his arm in march

Footy aside, I'm glad that a normal life is just around the corner!

Whatever happens beyond that is cream. I hope we see him back in a jersey next year!

Absolutely as long as Simon can have a normal life anything above that is a bonus.

Im sure he will work damn hard to get back on the field

I hope he has a full recovery, as he seems like a realy good bloke as well, good luck Simon.

Sheens said hes gone…wont play again

you heard that from the horses mouth?

Simon was at the game sitting behind sheens. Arm still in a sling - and not just a normal sling - it was still pretty jury rigged up… tis not looking good, but hey, never say never.

Given that apparently simon draws inspiration from this forum, I think that has to be the most idiotic thing you have ever written ink.

There's a million people out there who've made a mockery of Doctors' opinions. Hard work and a great attitude can defy the odds and I'm sure Simon will display a heap of both in the coming months. Never say never!

Crikey, even from all the Professional diagnosis that Simon has had to endure it's a week by week proposition, haven't 'you people' to quote 'Balmain Bug' taken any notice of the previous posts.
Don't write him off by any means, if there is a true sign of the Eye Of The Tiger then give Simon 18 months, that's 2013 friends and the expected recovery time that the Medico's said all along.

If that is 100% true it would've made massive headlines!..wouldn't it?…I've seen or heard nothing to support this fact!

Only just 2/3 weeks ago there was a huge article in the Sunday papers on Dwyer, his progress and prognosis. At no stage did Dwyer say he will not be playing ever again..in fact quite the opposite...he was upbeat about playing again!.

You have made a huge call here and if you are right well done for the scoop...if it's unconfirmed and just heresay...all I can say gutsy call mate!....remember it's his future you are talking about!.

Why? he's only reporting what he heard from Sheens. Don't shoot the messenger

If that's the case, that's horrible.

I still hope he can defy the odds. The guy has so many years ahead of him.
