Fulton is a bigger loss though IMO, and the team will look a whole lot stronger again when Ellis returns also.

and i have a horrible feeling that when ellis is back, fulton will make way for both blair and rhino.
fulton should be first one picked to partner ellis.

as for sirro, been a pretty cushy ride so far.

Of course he will. Fulton should be playing at lock though IMO.

And class players are what win comps, what hold the team together…the rudder if you will

You just said he ''will be'' that.
IE: in future
Good to see youre coming to your senses

That's what I meant. But I still think we can't win the comp without him. He looks the goods, I know it's early days yet, but the signs are there. If I'm wrong then by all means burn me at the stake. In not the smartest person in the world but I was interested in hearing what you guys think- there is a lot of knowledge on this forum- that's why I threw it out there. I apologize that it's a terrible thread. But I stand by my thoughts - Sirro will be big in the future & pivotal for the rest of this season.

what are the signs that people are seeing? 😕

as far as what i saw in first grade, he hasn't had a chance to show us his kicking game.. his passing game is strictly OK, against the raiders, benji created the overlaps where sironen just finished em off.. on a couple of instances he wasn't able to utilise on the overlaps benji created. he still has a LONG way to go. ofc, if we wanna persist with him at 5/8, he has to stay there, but i dont see how him not being there will affect our chances in the way it's being talked up here.

Sorry fellow forumers but please let me take back what I said - the whole thread - the doggies are looking good. I need more time. We will learn a lot tomorrow night.

You are putting him in the same bracket as Marshall & Farah….an 18 yo with 2.5 games under his belt....to two internationals, one a golden boot winner and (C) of his nation, the other Origin class both with 10 years NRL experience and a combined senior game tally of 400 games....its absurdity mate

AHX I agree that young Sirro adds to the quality of the team, he is a talented player who has shown a capability to step up from U20s to 1st grade, I don't think he is as pivotal to the team as your opening post suggests but if he continues to develop on what has been shown so far then he will become an important part of the team. You're entitled to your opinion and you got a reaction which you were after. I'm looking forward to tomorrow night though, Monday night football is a longgggg wait.

I didnt say you were….I am though.

We cannot win the comp without Robbie or Benji...thats my point.

You have a valid point AHX, Sirro adds something special to the side in attack, haven't witnessed much of his defence yet, but I see what you're saying, we won't win finals without him - I think we won't win finals without a comfortable halves pairing, Aysh won't be solid there to get us through the finals, Sirro is doing well there, I'd like to honestly see Moltzen play 5/8\. Sirro is a great prospect for our future however.

Marshall has looked very comfortable @ half since Sironen has been playing 5/8, so i am happy to see him stay there, & i can see him improving as the season goes on & he gets more confidence.
