Six of the losing teams in round one scored 10 points

Though the truly most bizarre moment of the weekend was Moltzen running the worst support line on a fast break-away in the entire history of rugby league… followed closely by the fact he was actually there to support at all.

Agree with MTD. Farrah maybe should've dummied and gone himself. Pretty sure he had support outside too but don't quote me. Easy to say from in front of the telly though.

Farrah backed off and looked over both shoulders, Moltzon left, I think Galloway right with Gidley in tow…

Your implying Farrah should have stepped right towards Gidley? No he was supposed to run at Darius and pass late, its not his fault Moltzon ran directly at Boyd as wel.l Daruis barely had to move from covering Robbie to ring Tims bell... because if he dummied left he would have run into Moltzon.

Disagree

Moltzen needed to put some space between himself and Farah, by running so close to Farah it allowed Boyd to cover both of them without much lateral movement

Yep nailed it clokan And CK won't be happy

Golden rule for a fullback is in wet conditions you take the ball carrier as always a chance in the wet conditons they might drop the ball on the fly

In the dry you take the support player as they rarely dummy and if they do you hope the cover can run them down

Moltzen should of been at least 3 metres further away than he was

How has this guy played almost 100 FG games

to be fair - they both bombed it equally.

To be fair.. most of the knockers have never made a break or been in a position to support a break beyond playing in the under 10's.
Now we're hearing the intricacies of separation.
Yeah , Moltzen could have been further away or Farah could have drifted in to the fullback….
It went wrong.... sometimes it happens - and usually when everything else is going wrong.

Good post

Sorry , but Moltzen is supposedly a fullback and should think like a fullback .

A fullback should know that in dry conditions that the fullback will always try and attack the support player

FFS was told that in under 14's

Moltzen should of been at least 5 metres from Farah ,its not like Farah has a dodgy pass

Lets stop making excuses and start calling a spade a spade and stop worrying whether we will put someone's nose out of place by calling it the way it is

My first reaction was that it was a poor ball from Farah. He followed his pass. Daaaaaaaarius followed Farah's body movement and then the ball. Moltzen was practically on Farah's hip. No decision to be made, it was made for him. Easy. Got man of the match because of it too. Sounded like there was cause for a clean up in the commentary box afterwards but Moltzen and Farah had made life very easy for Daaaaaarius. Any fullback worth feeding would have pulled off that play courtesy of Farah and Moltzen.

What has any of this to do with the OP noticing that 6 teams scored 10 points on the weekend?
BTW I think that was weird as well tf4l.

You should know by now stryker.
If you have 42 points scored against you it is always the fullbacks fault (as long as it's Moltzen) no matter what the initial point of the thread was.

And Uncle Tim can't do anything wrong in your eyes EVER

At least I acknowledge when he plays well

There must be someone out there who has played fullback thats heard of the dry / wet rule for fullbacks

If Robbie was at fault for anything perhaps he should of waited for the fullback to commit ,or double pumped the fullback and force him to commit

Happy , my point wasn't that Moltzen never does anything wrong just that every thread dissolves into blaming one player.
He had a poor game along with about 12 of the 17 on show - but you can't put all the blame the fullback when you get beat 42-10 (you , of all people should know that)
