Sleeping tablets in NRL a worry for Farah

It's one thing to boost energy physically. It's another to over activate cognitively. Symptoms might be things like impulsivity, poor decision making and a lack of consequential thinking. You know, like rash kicks in the final moments of a semi final against a team like the warriors!

according to the article he takes them "to get his energy level up"

Disappointing. As if there were not enough factors at hand to encourage motivation and "energy levels"

It seems obvious to me that there is a price to pay for stimulant usage, there is always a downside.

To me, it shows a lack of self confidence and a belief that a "legal drug " will enhance performance.
Not a quality a strong or responsible captain should exhibit I reckon….....but sure, no-one's perfect

Yeah there shouldn't be any reason for the boys to be taking caffeine. Aren't they motivated to play for their club? Surely there are health effects. Plus the come down is worse after the hit than if u went into the game "sober" and ran out of energy naturally. Wat happened to a pep talk from the coach and a couple of gatorades to replace electrolytes.
