Hi Ya…. just back from the game..... great atmosphere. Anyway funny you should mention this as I was talking about the state of the pitch with another supporter at the game. I was standing at the fence, right outside the toilet at the bay end..... you know the one that Howard Carter discovered early last century.
Anyway pitch was wet. It's been fairly warm all day and hasn't rained for quite a while so my guess is that the grass copped a soaking some time after the sun went down.
