Slipshenry - please drop him

What's with bagging Fitzy all the time?

Was he responsible for not defusing the bomb against the Broncos that lead to the try? Considering the Brisbane player had the run on him and Daniela and Marshall offered no blocking play or support around Fitzy to pounce on any lose ball. The other 2 left Fitzy isolated against 2 Bronco players. Blame Fitzy its easy.

Did he not help in stopping a near certain try with Farah locking up the ball? That play enabled us to win the game in the end. Forgot about that play did we.

He went around in circles 2metres from his own line with 3 Bronco players converging on him. Sorry, my mistake. Sack him because he didnt make a line break and streak down the field.

The criticism of this player is pathetic from so called supporters.

A winger or utility is not the difference between winning and losing games.

Hi Tim

i loved his 2 runs in the one set that gave us a combined -7m

please just pick him at 17, and give him the token 3 minutes that one of our backs gets each game

Dimitri he should have caught that bomb. Maybe others could have helped him out a bit but the bomb should have been taken.

Blake Ayshford should also have made that one-on-one tackle on Teo that led to the first Brisbane try but he does not get a mention.

The point is that Fitshenry gets undue attention from so called supporters and now also from the media based on what gets written on this forum (referring to that recent article in the Crapagraph).

The man has been playing reasonably well in the umpteen different positions he has filled this year. His "running in circles" sealed the win against the Raiders at Leichardt and Im sure most people were jumping up and down when he was running for the line.

When he runs in circles against the Broncos, because the team played ugly, he becomes the scape goat.

…by the way, it was Farah that created the try and Marshalls dummy run that sucked in the opposite winger to create space on the outside. My mother could have been on the wing to score the last try.

Ayshford copped alot of criticism from some sections for his game on Friday night.

Anywhere else you want to throw a red herring?

Oh FTR Brown was at centre, not on the wing

I know he was at centre, but he's winger/utility, and he was a game winner… kind of shoots his logic to pieces.

Linder first whilst Fitzhenry was playing Reserve Grade. Then he made his debut at 5/8th with Glen Air at Halfback. Probably THE Worst Halves combination in 102 Years of Rugby League. Lamb didn't have much choice i guess. It was either Fitzhenry or Nick Bradley-Qaliawa

Lamb had plenty of choices….had the money to spend on players just like every other club at the time. hewas doing the same thing you were ranting about and that is picking players out of position.Lamb in my opinion isnt a coaches backside and the fact no other club here or england snapped him up says something......If sheens went off contract almost every club would be intersted but he wants to stay with the mighty TIGERS.I do agree fitzhenry shouldnt be in the team. But we are winning and coming 3rd and that should keep the sheens bashings to a minimum.
