Well you can't say this comp hasn't thrown up just about every surprise you can possibly imagine Our only lovely lady (bar Geo and Hobbo ) has cleaned up this week with 11 Well done Mrs T , and has jumped from last to equal 14th only 10 behind the leaders And her equally delightful husband Tiger_1 got the equal 2nd best score of 7 along with Marshall_Magic We have 3 equal leaders this week Mac ,Hobbo Junior and Marshall Magic

As I said earlier in the thread THIS WEEK YOU WILL NEED TO GET TIPS IN TWICE WE HAVE 6 GAMES THAT WILL SIGN OUT ON THE 6TH AT 5.00 AM AND THEN ANOTHER 6 GAMES AT 10.00 PM ON SATURDAY THE 8TH

I'm easy either way , if you wish to separate both games you can , or similarly if you wish to put both games together that is fine

AS THIS WILL GET RATHER CONFUSING , CAN I ASK THAT ALL BANTER THIS WEEK IS KEPT TO THE SOCCER THREAD PLEASE

GEO CAN YOU PLEASE HAVE ANY BANTER DELETED OR MOVED TO THE SOCCER THREAD

Ok , I will put reminders every day on the thread , but as I will have a lot on myself this week , you will need to remember to put your tips , no guarantees I will PM people

Have a great week all , remember this is a marathon not a sprint , 17 players within 10 points shows how close it really is this year , almost like snakes and ladders depending if you are red hot or ice cold

Cheers Happy

Happy I got 7 points not 6, correct score on 2 highlighted games, plus correct result in Leicester win

No worries , I didn't get a chance to do a score review as I normally do so I will review all scores as usual later on

More concerned about getting the two rounds info out asap  and knew I had a late night tonight

A friendly reminder for everyone that teams need fixing before 6.45am tomorrow morning Sydney time, (ie Wednesday) - first game of Game-week 15 is AFC Bournemouth v. Huddersfield, and then the fun flurry carries over quick days in succession.

May the fantasy Gods carry you kindly in the epic days ahead!

Just as a tease, here's some quirky trivia:

Huddersfield have not won a midweek top-flight match (Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday) since March 1971\. They have drawn six and lost eight fixtures since then.

AFC Bournemouth are unbeaten in six home matches against Huddersfield Town in all competitions (W3 D3), since losing 1-0 in League One in August 2007.

Each of Brighton’s last seven Premier League victories have been by a one-goal margin. They last won by more in February, beating Swansea City 4-1.

Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha has scored five goals against Brighton in all competitions, more than against any other opponent.

West Ham have won their last six matches in all competitions against Cardiff, scoring 14 goals and conceding just two.

No PL team has won more matches after coming from behind this season than Cardiff, with all three of their victories coming in such a manner.

Watford are winless in their eight PL meetings with Man City and have lost the last six in a row.

Sergio Aguero (Man City) has scored 10 goals in six matches against Watford in all competitions, including a hat-trick in this fixture last term.

Liverpool are unbeaten in their last 16 PL matches played on a Wednesday (W11 D5), ever since a 3-1 loss at Stoke City on Boxing Day in 2012.

Burnley goalkeeper Joe Hart has conceded more PL goals against Liverpool than he has against any other side, with 33.

Everton have beaten Newcastle in eight of their last nine Premier League meetings and have won the last five clashes without conceding a single goal.

Newcastle haven not won a midweek PL match since December 2013, when they beat Stoke City 5-1\. They have since drawn eight and lost nine of their matches played on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.

Fulham’s Aleksandar Mitrovic has scored five goals in his last five PL home matches.

Jamie Vardy has scored a penalty in Leicester’s last two PL matches and could now become the sixth player to net from the spot in three consecutive appearances in the competition, after Ian Wright, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Michael Owen, Yohan Cabaye and Sergio Aguero.

Man Utd are unbeaten in their last 11 PL home matches against Arsenal, since a 1-0 loss in September 2006.

Arsenal have lost their last three midweek PL matches played on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.

Stuart Armstrong, who has scored three goals in his last two PL matches for Southampton, could now become the first player to score in three consecutive appearances for Saints in the competition since Manolo Gabbiadini in March 2017.

Dele Alli has had a hand in eight goals in five PL matches against Southampton, with five goals and three assists, more than he has against any other side.
