Pretty pathetic scenes down in Melbourne. The football community can’t blame the AFL press for this one - 100% self inflicted. Cowards and morons.
Go Mariners though!

Not good aye but the keeper definitely incites things by throwing the flare back into the crowd. That’s when the rush at him you didn’t see it on the coverage but it was all over twitter.
a gob full for supporting those 2 teams i hope.LOLI haven’t but I will!
Ken Oath mate, they should be considered a dangerous weapon not a toy, with the same penalties as carrying a gun if not used for safety. I sold the boat recently and the flare went with it.The moronic obsession soccer/football fans have with flares is something I’ll never understand.
It’s not an Oz thing. Violence has been with soccer across the planet for decades. A pommy labourer 30 years ago who was from Millwall said they used to have secrete classified ads in the team newspaper on where they would meet up to ambush the other team, he taught me to tape two box cutter blades together coz the twin blade cut cannot be stitched together without a bulbous scare. Handy to know.Soccer has always had bad behaviour associated with its supporters in Australia.Naturally it is only a relatively small percentage of most supporters but it is enough to taint the game.Hooligan behaviour at its worst.
Why would that be "handy to know"?...... he taught me to tape two box cutter blades together coz the twin blade cut cannot be stitched together without a bulbous scare. Handy to know.
Sarcasm is hard to post, maybe I should have texted it. That’s was more sarcasm. Yes it is sick, and disturbing how how people want maim each other over a sport. The same bloke told me they use to go into the toilets to rip apart the cubicles to use as weapons somehow. All coz their soccer team lost???? Their fathers probably stood together in the trenches. Why would that be "handy to know"?
That's just sick
