"Macarthur FC has been handed a transfer ban from FIFA, meaning they won't be able to bring in any new players until the middle of 2026.

The punishment stems from a court case that ruled the Bulls had to pay former manager and A-Leagues legend Dwight Yorke close to $300,000 following his sacking over a dressing room outburst.

The Court of Arbitration for Sport ruled that Macarthur had terminated Yorke without just cause.

FIFA has now prohibited the Australia Cup winning club from making any signings until the fee is paid."
