Brighton v Leicester

Since hammering Wolves 6-0 in April 2023, Brighton have won none of their last seven Premier League matches played in April, losing their last four in a row.

Nott’m Forest v Everton

Six of Everton’s last eight PL matches have been draws, the Toffees have drawn 14 league matches overall this season. Only in 1994/95, 2010/11, and 2012/13 have they drawn more.

Arsenal v Brentford

Christian Nørgaard has either scored or assisted 50% of Brentford’s Premier League goals against Arsenal. He’s also scored in two of his last three away matches in the competition.

Wolves v Spurs

Since Vítor Pereira’s arrival in December, only five clubs have won more PL matches than Wolves. Pereira has matched Gary O’Neil’s win tally from his final 34 matches in just 15.

AFC Bournemouth v Fulham

Evanilson’s nine PL goals are a Cherries debut-season record. Only three Brazilians have scored 10+ goals in their first PL season: Robinho, Roberto Firmino, and Matheus Pereira.

Today's results in the top six......

  1. Arsenal miss the chance to close the gap on Liverpool to 8 points
  2. Nott'm Forest lose at home for the first time since November
  3. Man City beat Crystal Palace 5-2 to boost their Champions League hopes
  4. Aston Villa's good form continues to climb into the top five

Spurs slow start, numerous defensive errors and a fired up opposition see Wolves win 4-2.
Spurs season comes down to the second leg of their Europa Cup 1/4 final on Friday.
Have to hope the individual errors made today are nowhere to be seen on Friday.
Come on Ye Spurs.

Wolves fans happy.
Spurs fans not so much, and personally I'm so disappointed.
(But hey! What's to smile about on the day Lachie Galvin's show is all the news for the wrong reason! Football of every colour is a sometimes harsh mistress.)

Anyways, back to the EPL Spurs result, todays's loss to Wolves was Spurs SEVENTEENTH league defeat this season.
As champion @Halbrowne61 said above so tastefully, Wolves were never looking like anything but winners from the 2nd minute, with the final score of 4-2 to Wolverhampton Wanderers over a less likely Tottenham telling its own story.

In Ange Postecoglou 's post match conference he said (in part): ""We controlled it really well" (except for the 4 goals!!) and about the fans "They're clearly not happy. They shouldn't be. I'm not happy. Everyone's not happy." I fear Ange's future as manager beyond this season, and I'm gutted if that's the case.

Jadon Sancho's spectacular effort salvages a point for Chelsea at home to a determined Ipswich Town who had lead 2 zip before the home team comeback to salvage a 2 all draw.
