This EPL fantasy comp info (below) may be of interest - it sure cleared some things up for me:
FPL INFORMATION
FPL CUP
Qualifying for this season's FPL Cup takes place on GW16. The top 4,194,304 scorers on GW16 will qualify for the cup which starts on GW17. Please note that your performance on GW16 is the only factor that decides if you qualify.
WILDCARDS
Anybody that still has a 1st wildcard has until the GW20 (28 December) deadline to use it. At this point all unused 1st wildcard's will be lost and all managers are given their 2nd wildcard. No other used chips are replaced.
BLANK GAMEWEEKS
There are 4 GW's where some teams will not play due to other competitions. Here is when these will happen:
GW18: Liverpool vs West Ham is postponed
GW28: Maximum 2 matches postponed due to League Cup final
GW31 Big blank. A maximum of 8 games postponed due to FA Cup
GW34 SITUATION
On GW34 4 matches can be postponed due to the FA Cup. However, GW34 is also pencilled in to be a Double GW. I would expect most if not all teams to play at least once and for it to be a Double GW for some teams.
DOUBLE GAMEWEEKS
GW37 is the other important Double GameWeek. Due to the GW34 situation, I would expect GW37 to be the biggest and most important double of the season. GW37 may see extra rotation by PL teams though because it is right at the end of the season.
There will also be a couple of other Doubles but these are only likely to contain 1 extra match. These may provide good situations to use your Triple Captain chip.
