This is BIG for school soccer/football in Sydney.

Waverley College is excited and proud to announce a new partnership with Manchester City Football Club to establish a Manchester City Football School in New South Wales.
The Football School, which will be based at both our campus and Queens Park playing fields, will include a resident Manchester City coach.
Expressions of interest for Year 7 students in 2024 have now opened, and trials are
expected to take place in coming weeks. For more information about the program, please visit www.waverley.nsw.edu.au/mancity.
At Waverley, we have long advocated for programs that encourage collaboration and
connection to positively promote mental health and wellbeing in our students.
The Manchester City Football School programme builds on our evidence-based wellbeing framework, which together with our curriculum, aims to deliver a well-rounded offering for students.
We look forward to welcoming our inaugural Football School team and continuing to support our students in and outside of the classroom
