We just witnessed one of the great wins in Wellington Phoenix history

No one gave them a chance against Championship side Wrexham AFC.
Chiefy’s side were missing Rufer, Paine, Retre, Piper and more. Barbarouses gone.
After fielding an Academy side for 45 minutes, they walk away 1-0 winners.

Wrexham AFC suffered defeat in Wellington on the final leg of their Down Under Tour, as a goal early in the second-half proved the difference at Sky Stadium

Another loss but an end of season jolly, not a real tour. I think the whole Wrexham thing just hyped up bs. Sure they sold some tickets but if Ryan Reynolds not involved then who would really care about an old time Welsh side.
The spin doctors gave had a ball with them.
