Two goals in stoppage time means it ends all square at Craven Cottage, in a game of
"It's mine, it's yours" as Liverpool had it won then Fulham snatched it back as both sides had to finally settle for a 2 all draw.

The Boro are BACK!!

Middlesbrough moved back into the Championship's top two as four goals in 22 second-half minutes swept aside sorry Southampton.

Morgan Whittaker scored twice, with a rare Sam Silvera goal sandwiched in between, before substitute Alan Browne added a fourth as Boro took advantage of Ipswich Town having their match away to Portsmouth postponed.

It was a first win, and first goals, in five games for Kim Hellberg's team as they reduced the gap to leaders Coventry City to six points, after the Sky Blues had earlier lost away at Birmingham City.

Millwall moved back into the Championship play-off places as Caleb Taylor's stoppage-time goal secured a 2-1 victory over Swansea City.

The Lions led at the break thanks to Mihailo Ivanovic's turn and finish but might have been further ahead having dominated the first period.

Rayan Kolli came off the bench to score his first Championship goals of the season as Queens Park Rangers comfortably beat Sheffield Wednesday 3-0 in freezing conditions at Loftus Road.

Rumarn Burrell had given the hosts the lead with his 10th goal of the season before going off shortly after with a suspected hamstring injury.

Julien Stephan's side struggled to kill the game off despite dominating the play and limiting their opponents to just three shots, until Kolli smashed the ball beyond Owls keeper Pierce Charles with nine minutes of normal time remaining.

The 20-year-old doubled his tally seven minutes later, taking advantage of some slack defending to wrap up the points for his side and end a run of three games without a win for the Rs.

Frank Lampard:

Chelsea appoint former manager as caretaker boss until end of season

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Wrong story - this was from 2021, so I am about 4 years out of date - so sorry to mislead....
And thanks to champion @WestsEffTheRest for being awake and picking this up. ✔️

What a silly mistake Lampard never ever learns

Brian Brobbey's equaliser for the Black Cats cancels out Spurs' Ben Davies' opener as the game ended in a 1 all draw between Sunderland and Tottenham Hotspurs.
Joao Palhinha's late header flew agonisingly wide for Spurs, leading to more loud jeers at the final whistle, the sound of frustration, while players on the field were involved in a moment of tension too.
Both teams remain in mid-table, with Sunderland three points ahead of Tottenham

WOW! What have I been reading??
I need new glasses.
Thanks champion @WestsEffTheRest- I'll amend the post.

And looking closer, I see that BBC Sport reports: Chelsea caretaker manager Calum McFarlane says "there's a chance" the new boss will be in place on Monday." and they also report "Liam Rosenior has flown to London to finalise his expected appointment as Chelsea head coach."

Amorim sacked by Man Utd after 14 months in charge

“Ruben Amorim has departed his role as Head Coach of Manchester United."

“With Manchester United sitting sixth in the Premier League, the club’s leadership has reluctantly made the decision that it is the right time to make a change. This will give the team the best opportunity of the highest possible Premier League finish,"

“The club would like to thank Ruben for his contribution to the club and wishes him well for the future”.

I support two clubs that are run by fools. What a joke just as we were making some progress.
