Auckland took a bit of time at the start of the match to find their feet with no Sam Cosgrove or Louis Verstraete; though once they were settled, there was no let up.

SydneyFC snap their three-match winless streak thanks to a match-winner from Tiago Quinta where they defeat Brisbane Roar 1 nil
A quiet game burst to life when the 19 year-old found the top corner after 53 minutes and the Sky Blues held on through a nervy second period to return to third place on the Isuzu UTE A-League ladder.
Brisbane asked a lot of Harrison Demenish-Meares in the later stages of the match, but will remain in eighth spot, two points away from the top six.

A performance that will be remembered for years to come.
Juan Mata scored twice and created another as Victory outclassed City 3-1 in the 51st Melbourne Derby.
The Spaniard opened the scoring with a goal of the season contender from 40 yards before doubling his tally with a powerful strike from the edge of the area. Max Caputo stretched well to pull one back for the hosts but Santos curled home the finisher in the 89th minute giving Mata his ninth assist of the season.
The win takes Victory five points clear of their rivals and up into fifth on the Isuzu UTE A-League ladder. Melbourne City remain in seventh, three points short of the finals places.

Middlesbrough missed the chance to close the gap on Championship leaders Coventry as they were held to a goalless draw by relegation-threatened Oxford United.
Despite finding themselves at opposite ends of the table, the visitors could have been in front at the break after they twice hit the frame of the goal.
Boro improved after the interval and created a host of chances, but could not find a breakthrough.
The result means Kim Hellberg's side now trail the Sky Blues by three points, with a six-point cushion over Millwall in third. Meanwhile, Oxford close the gap to the safety line to five points.
