Yeah I think they will just make it a tinge darker each time until it becomes black

I remember back when the Magpies' jumpers were wool and one jumper had to last the player for the whole season; washing them each week turned a sparkling black and white jumper at the start of the season to a dull grey by the end. Maybe this is where that alternate strip came from.

Call me crazy but i really like the grey kit and will most likely be purcashing it. I know of other tigers and non tigers supporters who really rate it also. It all comes down to tastes and preferences - everyone has different ones.

I dont mind the grey kit either Tony.

Not much point commenting as we seem to have a different kit every week to coincide with the pathetic marketing of the games. Why we can't just have the two basic sets of gear and leave out all the fancy, irrelevant stuff beats me. If the league (or club) want to support a good cause, do it at the ground like they used to. I get irritated with the stupid changes of kit almost every week.

So these socks are just two pair in a series of 22 pairs so that we have all bases covered for 'special events'???

But the gold at the top pf the sock meets with my approval and wins my vote. Love the 'Stevie Wonder' comment, too.

I like the grey. Just don't understand the reasoning behind it unless they are starting to distance themselves from the orange vs black vs white ratio debate by just being a shade of grey. Neutral.

As long as it's not that tacky orange I'm all for it.

I like the grey kit ink has put together .it looks good .as for socks .well for most of the match they will be around their ankles so I'm not too fussed in what they look like .as a fan I'd never wear a pair anyway
