it was always on my mind the fact fulton can make the run on side with fitz on the bench with the new pommy guy … then i see cayless who looks like he has just been on the biggest loser ....only a few have venom in their hit ups , the rest are hitting the line as soft as a pillow ....if fulton is one of our first options in the back row , we are in for the same old season as previous years .....
 
Jason Cayless . I didn't recognise him! Thought he was bigger the last time I saw him run around. He looks like Blake Ayshford!

He is a monster - when he is on we win the game when he goes off we lose.

Seriously we need some more quality grunt especially with Fulton in the pack. Fulton imo should be there - he is real good defensively, runs great lines and can get a good ball away. He also gets smashed reguarly.
 
Totally agree re: Cayless. When I saw the boys warming up I had to re-check the lineup because the bloke is built like Fulton.

Mate we made some great meters tonight in the forwards.. what game did you watch? Gibbs and Galloway took some stinging hitups!

Mate, I've been VERY critical on Fulton in the past… but he played brilliant tonight!

Past that... we hit them hard in alot of tackles tonight... We dropped too much in the first half and Maxwell did all he could to help manly out...
 
Agree that Galloway definitely looked up to the challenge tonight.

Fulton looks like more of a light-weight than he used to be. Big heart, but he copped some big hits tonight.

Moors looked out of his depth.

Heighington needs to get his head together, nearly cost us the game with rubbish penalties.

Ellis was great and stood up when the battle was on. Well deserved try.
 
Our bench forwards are crap
No offence
but Flanagan is not nrl standard same with moors one will drop when payton gets back
 
I thought bringing back Fulton was a huge mistake but after tonights performance i was the one who made a huge mistake Fulton played the best game of his career if he was unreal in attack and defence
 
We will be better when Payton comes back. More front row depth, and also that ability to he a ball playing forward. I noticed flanagan do 2
things tonight - drop the ball and get smashed! Did he go off after that???

I agree. I think Flanagan needs to be dropped to get a bit of size on the bench. Manly really steamrolled us when Big Red and Gibbs came off.

but Sheens loves to throw 2 smaller guys on the bench for some reason..I can't see it changing.
 
Our 4 bench players couldn't have had less impact if they tried!
 
Our bench is just crap atm, thought Cayless and Flanagan were very poor. Cayless looks like he is slow motion and just has no go forward. Think we really need big Todd back to help our bench. Great game from Fulton and Heino.
