It seemed to work last time. They have become complacent and stopped tackling….

Ground Hog Day!

Hahaha just like every off season the 'last years exit still hurts' articles come out

The team is full of big heads who can't handle criticism. It fires them up for a few weeks then the old habits come back. They act like little kids who get told to go to their room and throw a tantrum. Even beau (who seems like a genuine and good bloke) had a dig at Marty johns nearly 3 months after he said they were soft. No other team in the comp lets words get to them like ours does.

The players change, the comp changes but one thing has remained the same.

I think by know it's implied. Every nrl team, coach, supporter ect knows where to attack us

Still the middle. Also back on the inside. Whichever side utai/reddy/benji/aysh are on. We have a lot of jersey grabbers. Even lawry who has a terrific technique is guilty on occasion too.

Your not aware of our teams weaknesses? I'm not anybody though. Just my observations. Nobody's perfect

If you take away your two best rowers (defensively) from any team in the NRL they would struggle

People don't realize how much we miss Liam Fulton , and combining that with Ellis its a huge loss for the Tigers

Marshall really missed his bodyguard , thats for sure

marshall mostly missed tackles when he ran out of the line to shut down the playmakers, not too many in the defensive line.

Suppose that means that when you don't get a hand on someone that doesn't class as a missed tackle

If you come out of the line you have to make the tackle and you have to make it dominant

If you don't and you are close to the line you are screwed

I'm with you there HT …. If you rush up out of the line you simply must make the tackle.

Make the tackle and make it dominant Knuckles

Remember the two tackles were Lawrence screams out of the line , one was against Souffs He can't back in the line quick enough and Issac Luke just runs the line where Lawrence should of been

Really easy try Souffs

Even kids are taught to hold their line.
The only time you should ever consider coming up is when the other team has an obvious overlap and will score anyway.
Lawrence said after the game that players (and he meant himself as well) took it upon themselves to try to shut down the attack rather than hold formation as a team.
Once again , the only time I have ever seen players do this is when they are not confident the guy next to them will do their job.
If they don't have confidence in the players around them then that is a BIG problem.
