Souths 2nd 40/20

I know it made no difference to the outcome, but Souths scored off the back of their second 40/20 and subsequent sin-bin to Brooksy…

Was it just me or did anybody else think that was nowhere near a 40/20?

I was at the game and seated not far from where it went out and I said to my mate how is that a 40/20?

Seen the replay just now on my phone and deadset it wasn't even close to the 20m line 😕

If that was a decision that cost us the game I would be fuming.

I was there and it was clear 40/20…was screaming at our boys to get back...was clear as day dunno what you were seeing wrong line maybe

Yeah, I was sitting pretty much inline with it, and it looked to be about a metre short. Haven't seen it on TV yet.

Last bounce in field was before the 20\. Mustve had some sweet angle on it to cross the sideline on the other side of the 20

Fair enough mate but to me it looked pretty short, at least a metre short.

Maybe I'm wrong but a few people sitting around me thought the same, I thought it would at least be checked by the video ref.

The problem was 30 seconds earlier when we kicked on the first tackle to give them the ball back. Don't they remember the Warriors semi final???

I understand the point but in this case we were never going to lose.

TV angle changed just as it went over the sideline to the long shot up the sideline - so you couldn't really see it from there.

Was at the game on the same side 30m line…no way was that a 40/20 another call by the refs that went against us...not only did we bash souffs but we had to beat the refs too!
