Robert Jennings is exactly the type of player we should have been all in for. Big, strong and fast outside back. We have absolutely no-one like that, in any grade. Souths wouldn't have paid much for him either.

There's a reason big teams usually trample us. Our backs are tiny. And fairly slow.

In any case we've had a heap of schoolboy and NYC standouts come through the club at the same time and most have never made first grade.

Simona, Nofo, Naiqama and Teddy are all great outside backs. Fast, elusive and strong. We just need another winger. If Brooks steps up we could have one of the best back lines in the comp.

We've only been trampled all season out wide by Penrith last week. Yes we've been beaten out wide especially on the right hand side but it's been mostly poor reads.

We have the smallest and one of the, if not the, slowest backline in the comp. Our outside backs are ok, very good on their day, woeful when it's not, and far too inconsistent for any to be guaranteed starters.

We need size. Even bloody Blake Ayshford could out leap our boys to bat on the ball for the Warriors third try. It's a massive weakness.

And while George Jennings would still be ok, he's a lot smaller than Robert and not too dissimilar to what we already have.

Are you crazy?

We have plenty of pace. Nofo, Kevin N. Simona and JAC who is one of the fastest in the NRL, Brooks, who would be the fastest half with Johnson and Moses, who is really quick. We may lack a bit of size, but it is one of the quickest backlines, if not THE quickest.

And then there is Teddy.

Exactly - we have a great backline. JAC is the only issue that I can see and that is because he is leaving.

Robbie Rochow haha. The Mayor of Plodsville.
You know you are signing quality when the worst club team of the last 15 years is happy to let them walk.
May as well have signed Robbie O'Davis.

Rochow is garbage, never understood how he's somehow earnt himself a reputation as a good forward. He's Kyle Lovett standard for mine.

Our back line is definitely quick enough. Agree that we need some size there- we have never really had a winger that dominates in the air. Contesting the high ball is such an integral (and one of the crappiest mind you) aspect of modern day rugby league that we need to put some serious work in with some current or former AFL players who have perfected the art of leaping for and bringing down the high ball.

Kevvie at centre is problematic, has ability, not a great decision maker.

R Jennings at right centre pushing Kevvie to the wing would have been great.

Forest > Trees.

How many line breaks have Nofo or Kevvy made, say in our own half, and not got run down by the opposition? 0\. Kev has acceleration over 20m, but then dies fairly quickly and gets run down. Nofo has no pace whatsoever, just power and he keeps his legs pumping and thus breaks tackles and makes good metres. Every intercept, line-break he gets mowed down very quickly.

JAC, of course. Teddy, Brooks and Moses too yes. But our outside backs are definitely not fast. Nor big.

Simona's in the middle. Often seems to get caught when he makes a break too but he's not slow. And then there's Rankin…

I'm starting to think that you haven't been watching our team play all year. Naiqama and Nofo have busted them up so many times. That right hand side have been awesome.
