Souths may struggle, but ask yourself whether you can see a team like the Titans winning more games? I can’t.

I can. The Titans full strength team is not bad. I honestly cannot work out how they are so bad.

No way they win the spoon with that squad. Their back-line is especially ridiculous.

* Talented backs who are all FAST: Johnston, Graham, Burns, Gagai, Roberts
* Depth in the forward pack is concerning, but they still have Murray, Lowe, TBurgess, Su'a, Tatola, Knight. That's a good set of forwards.

I can see their spine being very effective-sending Mitchell through enumerable gaps. The only problem will be if he can't fit through them.

Original post was a bit tongue in cheek, but yeah he's definitely let himself go! I didn't want to admit this when I thought we were a chance of signing him.
His last game, v Tonga, was awful. Worst performance I've seen by anyone in a Kangaroos jersey. He really could be a lazy fatty this year.

I was talking to my mate today, he told me Kane Elgey stayed at his house over the Xmas break.
My mate had no idea who Elgey was, his daughter and Elgey’s girlfriend are friends.
Elgey told him he gave the game away at the end of last season because he didn’t enjoy it at Manly.
He said the Manly players treated him poorly because he was an outsider, but he enjoyed it at the Titans.
So you may be right Geo, Manly really do suck.
My mate said Elgey was a real nice bloke, he did say some other stuff that was not flattering for the Manly club as well

Bennett the Myth only coaches teams that are full of Rep players. With only 13 rep players in Souths top 17, this might be the first year in 30 seasons his coaching ability is actually tested. :face_with_rolling_eyes:

Yea i think Saints are going to struggle - if they don't get off to their customary whirlwind start they could find themselves in real trouble. I don't think the NRL would allow Flanno to step in to the head coach role this year. But that is only a title. If Saints are struggling early Mary will only be the head coach on paper.

Sorry you havent explained very well what you are talking about, what did i forget about the Knights? That Wayne only went there with about 20 rep players in his squad??
