Sandow won't survive past round 6 or 7 at this rate.
If the bunny's had any options he shouldn;t survive past the 40th minute of this game. Absolutely atrocious.
Geddes has busted himself yet again (ruptured archilles) and Burgess has probably re-stuffed his shoulder.
Not a great night for them.

Inglis won't work miracles until his halves give him good service and he gets some match fitness.
Sandow is struggling. He has a few small moments of brilliance, but he is just too inconsistent and has very little foresight to be a great half…
Despite scoring, they still look dead on their feet. If Carney was there it'd be a cricket score...

No one deserved to win that game, both sides only played 40 minutes.
Nonetheless, a good finish to start the first game of the season.

Did anyone notice they were trying to pull some Tigers plays like short side scrum move, i dont know what its called but the ball Benji did to Ellis in the Raiders game and also like how there are decoys running everywhere for Tigers. Rabbitohs tried to do all of them but they failed misreably :laughing: :laughing:

That game had everything I love about football. Especially Soffs fans celebrating like they won the comp after a field goal and Sandow carrying on only to lose. Welcome back NRL football

Definately glad we didnt sign Riddell, he looked off the pace the 15 minutes he played. The roosters attack didnt spark until Friend was thrown into the mix, i thought he played quite well.
Anasta was honest and didnt let anyone down, Pearce was a bit pedestrian in the first half till he grabbed the game by the scruff off the neck in the final 15.
Mosae played well and was damaging every time he touched the ball. And Perrot really impressed with his running and ability under the high ball.
It was a gutsy performance by souths with Burgess and Geddes leaving the field injured, although it took Burgess 18 mins to get his first touch.
Apparantly souths had 14 men on the field for 20 seconds, a fine will most likely be sufficient punishment.
Not too much to take away from either side really, i dont think the game indicated how either side will perform.
All in all was a good entertaining game of footy that has been long overdue!

Taylor should play halfback for Souths, unlike Sandow he can put a player through a hole (even if it was Tom Symonds for the final try).
