It could be the best ratings of all games outside of origin for the season

It’s like the timing for a lot of our games this year, not really attractive. If the Manly game was a Saturday night or Sunday arvo I reckon we would have got 16-18k.

Just an observation about the Spoon including how it compares to AFL in recent years:


Make of it what you will but:
NRL bottom teams appear more competitive than AFL sides
This year if you won 25% of games in the AFL you would have finished around 15 to 16th out of 18
Total wins by NRL spooners has doubled over the last 4 years
The NRL is truely an elite competition, Based on Win Loss performance our team has demonstrated a clear improvement over past seasons yet "The spoon" has also become easier to win despite the introduction of an additional side in 2023!
