Mate I am excited as well about Lodge don't get me wrong , but he has a lot of work to build his engine up anywhere near Wood's motor
If Keefy can find the accelerator peddle as well , we could have one of the best prop rotations in 2015 -2016

A very well respected talent scout believes he will be the best forward in the comp within 3 years.
Big call. But he has talent.

The guy Im referring to is further up the food chain

Our new S&C coach to have our players fit and well more often.
Sirro to release the beast from within and dominate the left edge.
Woods to get even better and become a leader of the SOO pack as well as Tigers
I got a good feeling about Lawrence aswell. I find it hard to believe that all that talent just disappeared,
His talent was speed and unless he has found some new tricks in the off season he needs his speed back

He had more than just speed. He put his winger away with a nice short ball or a flick many many times.

You're right, his speed was a factor early in his career, but now it's a matter of just hitting him late and closer to the line.

Unless he can get some footwork at the line it won't work
He only knows one way and so does every other defender in the comp bar Chris Sandow
The difference with Hoffman and Cordner is they get many dream balls a game with heaps of attacking options all around him with so many slight variations to those plays that make them unpredictable

Well you'd hope he'd be getting better ball than he has in the last few seasons.

And that there lays the issues for the WT's for x amount of years in the future
You can't expect to create chances for wingers when you lack quality centres and 2nd rowers
Teams will sit and wait for the 2nd man plays to Teddy in the attacking 20 and will nail him mercilessly unless we can find a centre / 2nd rower with something that will cause oppositions concern

And you can't expect hole-running centres and second rowers to create the space running off rookie halves with a lot to learn or Benji crabbing across the field right in front of them.
I think there's more likely a happy medium between the two opinions but each has valid points.
