OFFICIAL Starford To’a #253

Toa is hopeless. So many comments on this feed are spot on. He should have been helping the young kid throughout the game. Not being a spectator.
Club needs to find a surgical solution for his tricep/arm injury. Managing it isn’t working as he mentally is not committing to defensive contact nor 100% using his most lethal weapon, his fend. He’s a liability and those of us weekly Cup watchers saw it in his first few games back. Unfortunately we’ll be stuck with his contract so we need to prey that the club doctor can source surgical intervention to give him & us the best chance of seeing him back to his best even if next season.

Medical retirement might be for the best.

if only lol but he can still play just not at 100%. We are stuck. From memory the club extended him after this injury last year so poor decision from Richo, Benji & Moussa etc
Not our best recruiting decision. Just never seems to put in 100%, maybe fear of injury. That makes him a liability.
All of a sudden our backs are against the wall and it will show us;
1. How good a coach Benji has become and
2. Whether we can mould a team of replacements in a week.

A simple non surgical solution.

Agreed. The reason why he started the season so well last year is because he was in very good shape.

He’s not good enough to get away with playing injured. If they can’t fix the elbow he can’t play NRL.
