OFFICIAL Starford To’a #253

He has good moments, but does not put in the effort plays. Respectfully, when he’s on the field it really reminds me of our wooden spoon years. Not because he’s bad, but because he was one of our more exciting players back then.

I don’t believe he’s on much and he’s choosing to look around knowing Averillo has signed. I do t think we are paying much at all if any I’m told. It’s not uncommon value will drop if he stays anyway.
We would almost certainly be paying some freight. NRL (or more specifically rlpa) rules are you get paid your full contract unless you negotiate a pay decrease with the NRL.
So either Manly is paying full price or tigers chipping in. I don't see Manly paying full price.

Any bets he’ll improve dramatically under Foran like Brooks and Wakeham have?
Obviously Foran believes there’s something there( maybe after discussion with Brooks) but if they’re buying him as a replacement for Garrick they’ll soon be disappointed.
But maybe a change of scenery might be good. After all he’s had a good dose of “woodenspoonitis”.

My Manly supporting mates are very confident Foz with his 10 games coaching experience will dramatically improve him … who knows actually ? I’m not gunna say it’s an impossibility

One would ask how he coaches the chronic arm injury out of him, or maybe he didn't want surgery with us but has to get it done to get the Manly deal, the whole injury thing was baffling.

I for one is glad he's moving on, the limited times he was fit there was too much hot and cold and was sick of that whinging look he'd give when tackled.

I dunno mate ..he has found his best form in 12 months these past 2 games when word got out Manly we’re looking at him,,, wouldn’t be surprised if his injury woes are mostly mental..

Not gunna lie ..I’m glad he is outta here … he has had more than enough of a chance here and it didn’t happen …we need to spend his money elsewhere

Sad to see the bloke go to be honest, but not disappointed. When he was on, I thought he was devastating and one of my favourite players to watch. Just a shame he didn't seem capable of replicating it week to week for whatever reason. I think it's ultimately the right decision to cut him loose, but boy I would've liked to see him fulfil his potential with us.

I remember johns talking about toa during one of his good runs about how in Newcastle he was always hot and cold. They couldn't get the consistency out of him.

Unfortunately it's been the same here.

Kade 7 said in an earlier post that we are contributing nil for Toa, K7 is usually correct
