I also think Packer will be in the 17, probably at Momo’s expense.
I agree with Simpkin, but IMO that is an weak link for us having 2 DH’s. Would really prefer 4 forwards (not a 9). Though I doubt it will happen.

I reckon a 2-2 result will be good for us.

We say it every year with Luke but I think a co captain role with Douehi might be a good thing.

There are some tough decisions to make for the first few rounds.

Do we start Mbye at fullback and give Laurie 4 weeks in CC to work on the WT game plan?
If Simpkins is as good as reported he needs to get game time off the bench.
With a specialist 9 on the bench I think we need someone else on the bench that can cover centre so we shuffle players to cover an injury. Garner, MCK?
Maybe Talau could cover centre, 2nd row and lock from the bench, if he is seen as an out-an-out centre that is probably a bad idea.

It is actually great that the coach has tough decisions to make.

There is a good chance Laurie will be here in 2021, especially given Cini is a Panthers junior.

I can’t see Mbye at 5/8. He will be the most expensive benchie in the league until we can get him off our books. Doueihi will be in the halves by all accounts.
