Assuming Nofoaluma re-signs and Madge starts the season with BJ & Jet in the centres and Mbye at fullback..there will be heavy competition for the final wing position.

William Kei, Kane Bradley, Zac Cini, Edene Gebbie

I don't think Kei can play to mid year,or if so would walk into this side.Gebbie, again not sure of status.

Where does that leave Tommy Talau?

Reserve grade I’d say. AJ has a lot more pace and I think is a better winger.

Reserve grade I’d say. AJ has a lot more pace and I think is a better winger.

Given he is an outside back Talau is unlikely to get a bench spot. He will have to work his bum off and concentrate on the centre position. Where we have BJ, Jet, Momirovski. If Laurie comes Mbye as well.

I don’t think Talau will be a starting centre in 2021 but think he has what it takes to make the step up to full time first grade in that position the following season. Just needs to work on his speed.

The game is only getting faster. Tommy is still young and has the size. 2018 he captained the Bulldogs' Under-18 team in the grand final of the S. G. Ball Cup and was selected in the Australian Schoolboys.
IMO He is years away from looking at the back row.
For 2021 i think he should just concentrate speed and fitness. Anything could happen with Joey and Jet. If one or they both fail, Tommy and Momirovski should (if reserve grade goes ahead) be ready to take their spots.

Tall and has some speed. It wasn’t very long ago everyone wanted this type of player on the wing to catch attacking kicks.

Unfortunately I think reserve grade unless he takes over one of the centre spots. I'm hopeful he gets on of those spots but it's going to be tough.

I like Talau. He has something to his game. He is going to have to push BJ or Roberts out of the centres though and it's not going to be easy.

I see him as our 4th option in the centres and potentially filling in anywhere from 6 to 1 in the backline if we have injuries. I'd have Talau ahead of him and I don't see Talau making the top team unless there are injuries or brain explosions.

Talau and Momo may get some game time. BJ or Roberts are probably going to do something stupid to be dropped at some point and they could also get injured.

I agree that Momirovski has BJ, Roberts and possibly Talau ahead of him in the centres.
On the wing he’d probably jump Talau but would still have Nofoaluma and AJ ahead of him.
