When did we sign Trent Jennings? That kid has skills. Former Aus schoolboy came within a whisker of first grade at Parra.

Sure he did…..lucky to hold down an NYC spot from what I saw of his play.

40-38 Wolves about ten to go.tackling is optional today.Yeah Mr T and Teddy playing well.

Looks like both teams had non existent defence.
In our case it makes you wonder if we have really been working on it enough throughout all grades.

Clearly the defence work hasn't been that key for the nsw cup team over the week. Who were our best ?

We just don't have the forwards.
Taqele and big Ava had good games.
No creativity in the halves
Meaney is not even upto NSW cup standard let alone NRL…as a five-eigth anyways. Had a kick for touch after a penalty and just lobbed the ball back to Windsor with the wind behind him.
The half back didn't catch the ball from the kick off....News flash..You catch the ball from kick offs.

Tedesco clearly the best for the Tigers...brilliant watching him back up the middle a class player and his back to full fitness now and looking real good. Unless he has upset Potter in some way should be in NRL next week.

NSW Cup: Wests Tigers lose 44-22 to Wolves

Wests Tigers suffered a 44-42 loss to the Windsor Wolves at Campbelltown Sports Stadium today in round 2 of the NSW Cup competition.

In one of the most high scoring NSW games seen in recent seasons, Wests Tigers led 24-22 at half-time.

Wests Tigers opened the scoring in the 6th minute when centre Tim Simona found open space to feed giant winger Taqele Naiyaravoro who beat two defenders in a powerful run to score in the corner. Captain Sean Meaney converted the try for a 6-0 lead.

Two minutes later, Wests Tigers full-back James Tedesco sliced through the middle to beat the defence to score next to the posts. Meaney converted for an 8-0 lead to Wests Tigers.

The Wolves hit back in the 14th minute through winger Travis Robinson to score out wide. The try was not converted by centre Blake Austin for a 12-4 scoreline.

Windsor scored their second try through Blake Austin. He converted his own try for a 12-10 scoreline.

A break by Matt Robinson saw full-back Matt Moylan score. Austin converted the try to give the Wolves a 16-12 lead after 23 minutes.

A great short ball by Meaney saw second-rower Jared Farlow score for a 16-all scoreline. Meaney converted to give Wests Tigers an 18-16 lead.

Windsor winger Eto Nabuli dived over for a try after an impressive offload from centre Tom Eisenhuth. Austin converted to give the Wolves a 22-18 lead.

Wests Tigers centre Rory Brien continued his fine scoring feats of the past month when he went over untouched in the 37th minute for a 22-all scoreline.

Meaney converted the try to give Wests Tigers a 24-22 lead at half-time.

2nd Half
Naiyaravoro grabbed his second try early in the second half when he produced some great footwork and a great fend to score. Meaney failed to convert the try for a 28-22 lead.

Austin converted his second try to make it 28-all after 43 minutes.

Windsor then went to a 32-28 lead when Austin found space out wide. He converted his own try to give the Wolves a 34-28 lead.

Wests Tigers got back to trail 34-32 when winger Asipeli Fine scored out wide off a grubber kick.

Windsor extended their lead to 38-32 in the 66th minute when forward Mose Masoe scored under the posts. Austin converted for a 40-32 scoreline.

Tedesco grabbed his second try when he sliced through the middle again to score under the posts. Meaney converted the try to leave Wests Tigers trailing 40-38.

On paper at least the halves do seem the weak point forthe team. Sironen back next week and it's been said he will come back through nsw cup. Maybe mania Rudolph worth a crack too? He has the talent and isn't inthe 20s team ATM

Could easily have won this game just some stupid errors on early tackle counts
Have to agree on the halves just nothing happening there.
Hopefully Brooks, Sironen and Nofaluma to come back into the team over the next few weeks.

Like the look of Big Ava was dangerous and can supply a good offload.
Tedesco almost back to 100% was voted players player.

The weak point was the defence between Brien & Meaney. They didn't work well together at all and Blake Austin took full advantage

So Rory Brien's defence is not close to 1st grade standard? It's a shame, we need a centre.
Simona didn;t let anyone down in his chances. How's he looking?
