Coach: Billy Slater

As a Qld supporter, the new coach always puzzles me with the team they pick
Koula on the wing? Hudson young starting? Crighton?

Not a bad side but nothing to show dear into any team.

I think QLD go in as favourites based on the squads picked.

NSW definitely have the better halve and a better kicking game.

Billy I feel has made a mistake picking Cobbo. He's good for a couple of basic errors and with both Moses and Cleary being right foot kickers, they're going to pepper Cobbo with bombs.

I also like that Carrigan has been sort of dropped to bench. He's had a shocking month of footy in D.

I'd also swap Koula and Crichton. Crichton is better suited on the wing IMO

NSW forwards could be so much better. Start Murray, bring in Ford over Radley. And then no Keaon? I get Twal is injured so I’ll let that one slide but those selections are just idiocy by Daley

On that FB note, despite being a Teddy fan from way back still surprised he got the nod over Edwards.
Im not...
If it was decided this by this weekends games then id agree Edwards was better than Teddy rd 11.
But over the last 6 or 7 weeks id say Tedescos been better...nothing between them though...Maybe Edwards has a bit move versatility.
We have some great #1s currently

I am intrigued by the QLD team and look forward to seeing how they play. I feel Slater is fairly academic in the way he selects teams, he picks players that will compliment each other and deliver to a set game plan....unfortunately on the NSW side its just politics and favors. I actually feel Stefanie has played better this year than he did last year and whilst I don't feel he should be selected it just shows you the favor to Bellamy when he was on the coaching staff and perhaps the carrot that got him over to the Storm.

The Blues will romp over the Maroons by 16 in the first game, the second will be much closer, the Maroons lose by 1 in extra time and then the Toads win by 8 in game 3.

I'm on your side Daley, don't let us down... again.
