You can’t really be mad at that. I agree it wasn’t a send off but if it was the other way around up in QLD the crowd would’ve been cheering it as well. Home crowd will always cheer when the opposition goes to the bin no matter what.

The worst thing about winning is this bunch will now be selected for games 2 & 3 so series win coming for Queensland
Defiantly not the case mate. Yes we were royally outplayed the first 20-25 minutes but we were poor majority of the game. If KP wasn’t sent off, QLD clutch this game.

Send off was spot on no attempt to make a tackle it was straight up shoulder to head , he will get another 4 weeks suspension , it’s not the first time the dog has done it and his coach was also a specialist at it , dog shot

Qld looked like the most likely to score right until Ponga went off. NSW fan but man, I would be furious if I was a QLD fan. Qld deserved the win. NSW needs way more speed and attack.

At minimum it was 10 in the bin, it was not sent off worthy given it was head on head. Had his shoulder actually made contact I would’ve agreed but in this case I can’t.

The CH 9 commentators were itching for a fight to explode...they were more charged up than the players..and they could also do with coming up with some new material rather than the old cliches they recycle over and over...eg IF (team X) could jag one now before half time.." If the game wasn't exclusive to 9, I'd have gone over to Fox.. Gotta feel for the QLD team, though. I thought NSW got all the calls tonight. Whether they win the series, that I doubt.

It’s the lack of game knowledge that gets me.
Daley in the box screaming send him off…Johns doing the same in commentary until his common sense kicked in. It was sheer desperation as QLD were not cracking in defence at all at that stage.
It ruined the game to the extent that it robbed the NSW players of the chance to win that game through hard work
