Nrl quality has had a major fall off. Commentators carrying on like the games are some sort of magic. PVL just trying to keep it interesting with a billion try’s per game and close score lines. Feels like it’s run by a bunch of salesmen

Send off was spot on no attempt to make a tackle it was straight up shoulder to head , he will get another 4 weeks suspension , it’s not the first time the dog has done it and his coach was also a specialist at it , dog shot

His coach liked to attack with his boots as well the grub

At minimum it was 10 in the bin, it was not sent off worthy given it was head on head. Had his shoulder actually made contact I would’ve agreed but in this case I can’t.

He was sent for direct contact to the head with his shoulder , and ref also said no attempt at a tackle , he will get 4 more weeks

Defiantly not the case mate. Yes we were royally outplayed the first 20-25 minutes but we were poor majority of the game. If KP wasn’t sent off, QLD clutch this game.

100% a send off by rule. Heads may have made some contact, but shoulder made contact with force and no wrapping motion. Reverse angle shows it clearly.

Should NSW have won (coming from a NSW fan)? No, played like garbage, and still struggled against 12 for 20 minutes. Got lucky.

I thought Daley being bought back as coach was the worst decision in origin history, closely followed by his previous appointment

It’s the lack of game knowledge that gets me.
Daley in the box screaming send him off…Johns doing the same in commentary until his common sense kicked in. It was sheer desperation as QLD were not cracking in defence at all at that stage.
It ruined the game to the extent that it robbed the NSW players of the chance to win that game through hard work

The discussion in my group chat was bin or sent. Whilst opinions were split most thought bin, all thought could go either way.
Harsh call but by no means the howler people are acting like it is in my opinion.

Big impact props never work in origin, and no idea why Barnett is so highly rated. He’s just a plodder with a high work rate

To be fair with Chrichton he has the runs on the board but this year he seems really off. Hopefully we make changes despite the win, we were hot garbage for 60 minutes and only looked decent against 12 players

NSW was poor for majority of the game. If KP stayed on NSW don’t win, and that’s coming from a Blues fan. We didn’t deserve the win, but it is what it is. The commentary was abysmal tonight from just about everybody. The 9 commentary team hasn’t been the same since Ray, Sterlo and Fatty retired.
