Mate one day I might put together a series of clips of Gould defiantly stating that sides with a spine of Smith, Cronk, Thurston and Slater and other legends like GI, Webke etc couldn’t beat NSW. The bloke doesn’t understand why QLD win so often.
I’ll give you the tip….its partly to prove merkins like him wrong.

Yeah I hate to say it but, as great as Cleary is at Penrith and winning premierships, he’s been outplayed by every QLD half since he was first chosen, including the 2 game rookie tonight, Sam Walker. Quite sad really, given what we all know he can do, just not at Origin level I guess. He’s not the first NSW player to not be able to step up.

Daley deserves everything he gets against him. You can hear it in interviews that he doesn't know anything. He seems so lost and dopey.

I don't know what Cleary is supposed to do when you're getting smashed in the ruck.

Cleary's ammo is preparation and repetitions. He needs players around him who he can rely on to run the lines and supports he needs.

Lucas and Radley kept coming in his way and Robson's service out of dummy half was averge simply because it was so premeditated.

Walkers kicking in first half was horrendous.

This isn't on Cleary. This is solely on Daley.

Cleary is a guy who plays in structure so he needs an x-factor player at 6 to offset his skillset. Moses was a poor selection.

Luai, Talagi & even Strange allow Cleary to be himself. Moses is just a poorer version of him.
