STATE OF ORIGIN GAME 1 2010 *LIVE-SPOILERS*

1\. Hayne was woeful in defense on the wing.
2\. Craig Bellamy brings no passion to the NSW team (vs Meneinga) and his coaching credentials have to be seriously questioned when he has a team way over the salary cap. A coach with passion and some daring would be good.
3\. Gidley???? Has been

The final score flatters NSW. Qld were far the better side, especially in the key areas of the 6, 7,9 and 1.

NSW have to pick some players with flare, go for all out attack, or Qld will win forever - or at least until Thurston retires.

Ennis and Kimmorley were an embarrassment. Farah and Lui for SOO 2!

Gutted. Can't believe we're going to see a 5th straight loss. That hurts. Get rid of the selectors for sure!

Sheens would thrive here…players out of position all over the place.

Be good to one day enjoy Origin again

sigh

The series isn't over yet. NSW just have to play smarter.

if idris is picked again it will prove the selectors have no idea, 2 horrible reads in defense led to tries, ennis was he even out there? offered nothing.

3 of there 4 tries came from qld errors they had nothing in attack tonight

QLD have the refs on their side and use our players to help them win.. bunch of cheats
and our own selectors keep pickign the same boring washed up players year after year… just like our coach

1 Hayne
2 Gordon
3 Jennings
4 Lyon
5 Morris
6 Gidley /Bird
7 Kimmorley

thats what I would go with

Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha you guys are so crap!!!!!!!!!

five nil will be just the start.

Had to pit up with NSW bullcrap all week in the news…....THEY HAVE NOTHING!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Hayne
morris
jennings
lawrence
j.morris

if NSW want to score points and compete they need this back line

If they persist with Hayne on the wing and Idris defending in the centres we will never win a game. Qld must laugh to themselves when they see Idris in the centres, i mean just look at some Bulldogs tapes and you'll know he's gonna be caught out defensively but no, the dumb NSW selectors pick him and put a fullback outside him to defend against the best backline in league add to that Lyon also defending on that side and out of position. What do you expect selectors?

Gidley: Made 1-2 decent runs, otherwise pretty lethargic. Not captaincy material
Hayne: Some excellent attack, some dumb attack, some ordinary defence. Pretty average all in all.
Tahu: Made some big charges, probably shouldn't have been there, and didn't really prove us otherwise.
Cooper: Invisible for 40 minutes, then got injured
Morris: Probably our best outside back, good debut
Lyon: Horribly out of position. It showed.
Kimmorley: Made some good plays towards the end, but when it was in the balance he didn't really step it up. Wasn't a bad performance though
Weyman: Got some good offloads away, was alright, compared to the rest of our forwards.
Ennis: Didn't get the forwards rolling. Didn't overplay his hand either.
Perry: Tits on a bull. USELESS!
Waterhouse: USELESS
Creagh: Average game, some good some bad.
Watmough: Looked like he was actually trying. Had more fire in him than the rest of our forwards. Made some bad plays though.

Idris: Out of his depth. Never looked comfortable.
Leahroyd Lahrs: Didn't really notice him out there, made a few decent runs, but didn't stamp his authority on the game
White: USELESS
Lewis: Needed to start. Not enough game time.

You mean 5 in a row. There is a difference, but I suppose that's hard for you folk north of the border to grasp

i thought if NSW won creagh would of got MOM, easily NSW best tonight

Here's the thing and I've stated this many times now…....NSW DO NOT HAVE THE CATTLE.

They are a team of very good first graders playing a side containing living legends of the current rep scene. Simple as that.

QLD are chock full of superstars who have played together for quite a while now at state and international levels. They know how to play each others game.

Unfortunately...it doesnt matter what side NSW picks. They will not win another series until the greatest combo the game has ever seen - Smith, Thurston, Lockyer and Slater is dismantled. One of them was missing tonight and the other three were the best on the field. You may have to wait until they all retire lol.

Born and Bred in Cairns champ…..

Getting a bit sick of Origin though....NSW are really starting to ruin it.

funny thing is QLD think their a good team and talk about how NSW is so bad

so which one is it QLD good or NSW bad?? must be massively overrated to beat a crap team by only 4 points

So where did the refs cheat to help QLD? The try where Waterhouse knocked it on in the air for NSW to score? Or perhaps the one where Creagh knocked it on after it hit his foot?

Scoreline didn't reflect the game, NSW were gifted two tries.

Gidley at #1 and Lyon at #6 were the best two things to happen for QLD tonight. Both massively ineffective. I nearly fell off my chair when Rabs and Gus started comparing him to Slater when he made one line break.

Looking forward to giving it to Rothfield on his blog tomorrow. Every year he says that Locky and Civenoceva are too old, and they're young bloods are too inexperienced, but they always seem to show the Blues up. I swear that muppet has no idea.
