Born and Bred in Cairns champ…..

Getting a bit sick of Origin though....NSW are really starting to ruin it.

Yes bask in the glory now…Queenslanders....pffffffft....

I don't care if you win 10 in a row...With the muppet's that are the NSW selectors ....every chance...

NSW will rise...

It was like Oh pick the best 17 we think we have...and just put em on the field...

Yeah how good was Ennis....And IDRIS..he needs to start surely....

**QLD have the refs on their side and use our players to help them win.. bunch of cheats**
and our own selectors keep pickign the same boring washed up players year after year… just like our coach
\
\
1 Hayne
2 Gordon
3 Jennings
4 Lyon
5 Morris
6 Gidley /Bird
7 Kimmorley

thats what I would go with

So where did the refs cheat to help QLD? The try where Waterhouse knocked it on in the air for NSW to score? Or perhaps the one where Creagh knocked it on after it hit his foot?

Scoreline didn't reflect the game, NSW were gifted two tries.

Agree with ya there on the Creagh one mate, but in saying that QLD's first try in the 2nd half was off a blatant forward pass from Thurston to Shillington. I counted 3 forward passes by QLD in the first 10 minutes of the 2nd half. Iv'e seen Thaiday's try disallowed many times but if that was NSW or the Tigers I wouldve said try.

In saying that, QLD deserved to win, they did their homework on Idris' side and came up trumps. The Blues selectors cost us again by playing:
- Gidley at 1 (I wouldve put Hayne at 1)
- Hayne on the wing (I wouldve picked Lawrence)
- Tahu (J Morris)
- Lyon at 6 (I wouldve put Lewis or there with Lyon in the place of Cooper and G Stewart on the bench, or, Carney)
- Waterhouse (Gallen)
- And B White (Snowden)

All those guys were ineffective.

Idris was out of his depth but at least the selectors took a gamble which is something they dont normally do.

Just on Ennis I've gotta say that I watched him closely most of the night,( waiting for him to be shown up), and thought he did alright.
Wasnt flashy or brilliant but did his job ok. Cant see Farah dislodging him for the second game.

BTW Golden, the win may have been by 4, but we flogged youse. If you take away Haynes fluke try, the other two were from knock-ons. All our tries were the result of skill.

If the selectors pick blokes in their natural positions then that will be a good start towards a possible victory for the blues.

LOL QLD domianted a 4 point win 16 all in the 2nd half.. talk about massivly overrated.. the 80s QLD team beat DECENT NSW teams and won by 30 points

and yes the ref turned the game when he gave QLD 6 more tackles after a so called play at the ball a rip off penalty and 3 forwad passes that led to the try

LMAO result of skill

a stipped ball from that overrated hack Thurston which the meida will cream themselves about all week… a fluke try to Slater off a bananna kick.. I dont think QLD can talk either about fluke trys

I think you are right Stryker. NSW played very well in the first 20, but the momentum changed to Qld. From this point, Qld dominated the game. NSW disnt look like they were ever gona get back into the game.

I cant believe those 2 tries were awarded to NSW, but thats the luck of the bounce I suppose. Qld did show more skill to win this game, but that Thurston grab should of been a penalty to NSW. Either way, It wouldnt of changed the result. Yes momentum would of changed, but Qld were too dominant last night to allow that to get over them…

Unless NSW do something with thier attacking options, I'd say Qld will win this nil...

Turning point for me was Qld getting penalty after penalty for dropping the ball while trying to play it (why are players rewarded for poor ball security?) also the charge down call (how is turning your back and putting your hand up to protect your face playing at the ball) and lastly can someone tell Qld were not playing NFL, seriously if i didn't count at least three forward passes in that set that led to their try then i'm not here. Lucky Smith didn't play because he's good for about six a game.

Did NSW make any line breaks last night? The only way they got the ball into any sort of decent field position was either from penalties or the occassional QLD mistake. Very sad…

I saw a stat in the telegraph saying Ennis made over 40 tackles. Is that right? I was trying to keep an eye on him but he was rarely seen.

Hahahaha dead set….why are you even bothering about commenting on NSW seletions.....

Queenslander pumping for Ennis.....he was average and bereft of ideas,,,,

Oh our tries were lucky....so what,,,they still count 4 points,,,

But since you brought it up...how is a strip beneifit of the doubt...Harrigan...either he stipped it leagally TRY or not...PENALTY,,,,pffffft....

Picking a ageing half and a centre at 5/8 was just the beginning of our woes.

Perry is a utter Joke of a player as is White.

We named only one prop forward on the bench though. That is the worst decision in Origin for a long time. TLL tried hard when forced to play prop but think how damaging he would be running like a Thaiday out wide. But instead we pick Creagh and Waterhouse ROFLMAO

Probably just the Ennis Propaganda machine spinning out of control. He looked average at best last night.

LOL @ Ennis making 40 tackles!

Anyway… NSW were insanely lucky it was wet! If it hadn't rained QLD would have belted us! Past that, (I am a NSW supporter too) the refereeing was a disgrace! They did everything they could to keep NSW in it... 2 tries that weren't and some really poor calls against QLD.

NSW showed a few things last night though...

* They have been poorly coached! They had no structure and no idea! QLD looked loose and everything was done with purpose. NSW on the other hand was... ummmm BOMB!!!!!!
* Hayne is not a wingers backside! Deadset, his defensive reads led to 2 tries and he was pointless there all night!
* Tahu is a grub! Every tackle he was involved involved something grubby... dog
* While Ennis and Kimmorley are there, they side will be insanely one dimensional! Neither play runs the ball, Kimmorley because he has no speed... even if he did he'd be mowed down in 10m. Ennis because he's a terrible player. Gidley should be hooker and Hayne should be fullback... Hell I'll play half! I'm sure I wouldn't do any worse!

Past all that... how good is JT!!! He is an absolute freak of a player!

Unless the selectors make changes... We are going to receive an absolute hiding at suncorp!

They will probably come out tomorrow saying they all deserve another chance and it's not the time to make wholesale changes.

Did you write Bellamy's press release Willow - its almost word for word.

You are the first NSW supporter to actually come out and say this Kaiser. I had the same thoughts about the referee's. Reminded me alot of the World Cup Final 2 years ago. They did however change thier tact in the second half, but I still think JT's rack should of been a penalty.

NSW are in trouble…

Five Nil!!!

Actually I watched how Ennis gets his tackle count up he always flops in when the tackled player has been stopped he did it all night two ploayers would be in the tackle then FLOPS in ..What a joke I have not noticed it before but I was watching what sort of game he was having when I noticed this .
