Good read, Farah's form is coming along nicely. Very impressed with our defence of late. Well done WTs!

rob lui's stat is the most surprising for me.

Who here remembers Thurston @ 21???

He wasn't in 1st grade regularly, wasn't a Noted defender at the time either.

The dogs let him go in favour of retaining Anasta…

ROb Lui is a more experianced player at the state of he's career.

He will be a gun in time.

couldn't agree more..let's hope that stat is a sign his defence is on the mend.

Puts it into perspective when you put it like that…. Lui must be retained. He's deceptively fast and strong as well.

Thurston was crap back then, and Anasta had Try-hard written all over him back then as well.

Thurston became a gun, Anasta remained a douche.

Ellis' low comparative percentage of effective tackles surprises me.

I'm guessing it must be fast centres getting around him and just out of his reach. When he has a good shot on someone he doesnt let go and normally wraps up the ball pretty well in the process.

I'd think it has more to do with him rushing out of the line to put a big hit on players. It's to be expected he isn't going to nail all of them. Those ineffective tackles you don't mind so much, it's the ones that lead to linebreaks that are obviously more of an issue!

The stats are impressive, but I find this a pointless exercise by our club. Why are we doing this? Would it not be better for the press to publish such information? If we were to publish such statistics, would it not be better to publish at end of season?

We are only running 6th. It is not like we are 1st and destroying the competition.

I become increasingly disgruntled at management who decided to elbow Bryce out of the Tigers!
