Stefano Utoikamanu #241

[turkeytiger03]

Meh! Slow news day

Must been drawn out of a hat really

[DGilly]

I mean I'll take it. Good for him, big future

[avocadoontoast]

That's a great achievement. Well done Stef!

[Madge]

I must say I am surprised - but I don't want that to cover how thrilled I am to see this sort of news! Congratulations Stefano!

[TrueTiger]

Thats 2 guys picked for SOO from the Tigers THIS YEAR.....someone must think Madge and the club are doing ok with a lot of youth and inexperience....

[PJ_]

Congrats.
Do the opposite of what Tamou tells you 🤣

[Tigerdave]

Should be a good experience for him

[Telltails]

Best news in ages. Couldnt be happier for him.

[cqtiger]

Congrats

Sadly, he won’t be a Tiger after this contract.

[tig_prmz]

Surprising for sure! Congrats big man! He will learn invaluable things there.

[DJG]

Congrats big Stef!

We need to grow a team around him... and another HUGE forward to partner him.

[ElleryHanley]

Congrats...that is genuinely good news.

Fittler has always had huge raps on him through all the NSW junior teams.

Being honest, I am not sure his form warrants anything near an Origin squad. But the experience will be invaluable. Hopefully he starts games from here on also.

[Madge]

Thought the club would post something on the website about it, strange.

[weststigerman]

Odd.

Congrats to him, but he hasn't exactly stood out it first grade. Hopefully they all fall over and he gets a run.

[ElleryHanley]

Congrats

Sadly, he won’t be a Tiger after this contract.

He has two years to go after this...so other clubs can't talk to him until Nov next year.

Hopefully we have improved by then.

[WT2K]

Will be a great experience for him. One of a few shining lights this season. Well done Stefano.

Perhaps the recruitment meeting is still happening

[Telltails]

Good recruitment - from who ever is responsible . Shows pathways to rep is possible at this club and Stefano clearly has the attitude that we want going forward.

[hobbo1]

Well done big fella 💪

I remember blocker sirro and Benny Elias all selected for nsw in 91. No one thought Allan Jones was doing a good job
