Hoppa with the peoples elbow post try celebration. About the only good memory I have of that game.
Nearly punched on with Steve Carter too IIRC.

@GNR4LIFE said:Such a waste of talent. Could have literally been anything. The game where we came back from 24-0 against the Knights in 2001 was him pretty much beating the Knights on his own.
@tsjonathan said:You guys remember that Joel Caine try from the chip and chase from Field?
That was a gem
@Demps said:lol, Luke Burt…
He's a chump.
Freddy Fittler was reportdly a gun, tearing up adult teams as a 15 yr old.
Owen Craigie does a lot for the community in various ways.
He was a youth worker for a while, defo a pretty selfless guy these days.
@Cultured Bogan said:Fittler was a freak as a pup, he was always going to be something special.
I also remember a backline of Jason Moodie, Fitzy, Shane Elford and Luke Covell destroying Pawwa at LO back in 04(?) "Kiwi" Covell scored three tries. There was a lot of LOL'ing at the Pawwa had that day. Demps would have loved it, Burt looked like he was going to cry.

I was there with my mate and we were about 10m away from the Parramatta Jesus who spent the whole game rolling and smoking joints.
That was right around the time he was well known, being on the footy show. He copped it deluxe during that game. ''You'll need a miracle now Jesus'' and ''go home now Jesus, beat the traffic'' were a couple of my favourites.
@Fade To Black said:Give Lupina aka Jackson Kaufusi a thread all his own for the game where he said he wanted to come off because he "had a headache"!
Or Justin Doyle vs Dragons in 2000 where he scored a try and mimicked blowing his finger up until it unfurled into an "up yours" to the Saints fans. Pity it backfired though- we lost that game too.

Freddy was definitely a freak as well, and just continued being a freak!
GNR did you cousin play with him at Liverpool or Cambridge Park??
If Cambridge park I might watched him, they were so good at 15-16, me and my mates would often go watch them play. Ben Alexander and Jamie Olejenik (who was younger) were in the same side.

Complete opposite to out Mr. JT.

3 minor premierships and 1 premiership all within three years of coaching at NRL level is a darn good record isn't it.
