Still a boys club

Club needs to stand up and end it now. We should not be wasting any money on these Prima donnas who let us down every second week. Tedesco would be the only player that I would be disappointed if he leaves…without him we run dead last every year since 2013.

Brooks I wouldn't feed. Moses is not as good as he thinks and woods doesn't hurt anyone and isn't a leader.

End what exactly?

The story about them wanting Payton is more logical than the likelihood thay they will drop their bundle if Taylor goes.theyve all had an association with him before and have confidence in him.

Taylor has done very little that I could see , that would have first grade players pleading for him to stay.
in the event that we could not get a top coach( which is what we need)
Payton could be the best replacement for Taylor. At least they'd be playing for him.
No one will convince me that these blokes are playing for Taylor
And before some start jumping up and down. And calling Payten names.
Payton has shown he can get the best out of some of these players, and I couldn't care less if we signed Atilla The Hun as long as he can get results

The last thing we need is another rookie coach. This club, if they sack Taylor need a big name coach that will demand standards are met and will let the playing group know from day one who is running the show.

If not rookie we'll have mediocre coach, because we can not afford top shelf coach.
Wayne,Das and other good coaches they started as rookies too,so I will prefer give chance to Payten
first before another proven mediocre coach.

Why would we want players who in your opinion aren't playing for their current coach but would play for an ex junior coach?

These blokes are supposed to be professionals… Yet you're suggesting they're dogging it?

I'd be pushing for the players to be shown the door If that was the case

Why are you certain they'd play for Payten?

Getting the beat out of a 20s player is a different ball game to NRL and there are no guarantees

You do realize that he coached them in a comp where defence is basically non existent. Cricket scores are the norm.
I guess they don't like the defensive side of the game and wish it to be like the old days.
I don't attribute their success to Payten whatsoever.

I agree with that. To a point.

I'm not certain about any of that, and would rather a top coach.thats a no brainer.
I'm saying if that level of Coach isn't available
He isn't just an ex coach but has had had time as an assistant coach in the nrl and already has the respect of the players that he would be coaching. And let's face it the standard set by the current isn't exactly a high bar

I was happy for JT to stay if the big 4 were supporting him and if they were im sure they would have all signed by now. If getting Payten means we sign them all then bring him on. He would be pretty cheap and im sure he would love to come back. He couldn't be worse then what we have.

I am not to sure what boys club is being addressed here ..is it the Boys club the CEO is setting up with all the discards from Penrith just wondering?

No hum.
I didn't say they're dogging it,but they certainly don't great deal of inspiration from the current coach

I like that argument. "Nah, I'm not dogging it. I'm just not "inspired" by JT. Can I have Payts back?"

I am not big on JT, however he has the same amount of runs on the board as these players (not many interns of NRL success) I wish they would just win us games and get into finals rather then thinking out how much doe they can make and how good they supposedly are. Teddy is the only superstar we have.

The last thing we need is the boys clubs and to bring in Payten. I would be mortified if that happened.

Like Supercoach said if JT goes get a proven NRL, experienced Head Coach - not a rookie like Payten. Payne would be the worst pick possible.
